couldnt have said this better.. you can see it on the face of other stars when he performs.. they know it.. They barely hold a candle to this guy
@nottsgriff28 күн бұрын
So many of his albums are overproduced to the point of blandness. He needs to release a greatest hits album recorded just like this. Acoustic. Clean. If MTV Unplugged was still a thing he'd finally have a smash hit. Such a talented songwriter and musician though.

Not totally fair, there are plenty of small Managers and Distributers who really try hard to be good to their employers, it's only the big companies and the people who try to imitate the big companies who think of artists as chattel to own and exploit.

After turning on the TV and getting immediately enthralled in the documentary Love Shines, I am hooked on Ron's music. There is something about this man that inspires hope. I can only hope that he realizes how influential his music is.

the song is the anthem for all musicians who attempt to raise their voice and break the silence- nice melody- musically the song is simple, clean, and easy to remember. That's what makes a song great: memorability. This one has it. Get in Line.

@hawkworthington . Indeed. Both Fran and Graham are showing great admiration. This guy is fantastic. His singing, guitar playing and timing are impeccable. Just can't fathom how a singer/songriter of his calibre hasn't made it big time.

I do usually puke over the "this music/artist is underrated" cliché comment, but I'm afraid it's a true remark talking about Ron. Of course he's not totally ignored, and you can count me into his fanbase, but it feels like he gets less than he gives

What a voice that guy has, holy geeeze, I'll try to hit most of the notes for you." Ron just has the lovely ability of conflating affability, melody, and nostalgia into songs that are meaningful and memorable. And also notice how he never plays an electric guitar live. Imagine how many how many high quality cuts he's penned with his sturdy acoustic guitar

Reminds me of songs from the 50's - 'story songs' that is...he did it well and in front of a tough audience = song-writers. He did it well. Graham has been song-writing since the 1960's - he spent time working for a famous NYC song-writing house in the late 60's and it was grueling work...he has paid his dues.

Unfortunately for Ron, media idiots didn’t promote him. He is directly one of the reasons I no longer listen to the radio. Social media has also killed new music., or at least the choice of music. For example, first part of the Lego movie is really a horror movie. Sad thing is even adults who watched it when it was first released will still not get it. Everything is awesome 😂
