This man's music is delightfully down to earth. Lyrics worth listening to and always melodically interesting.

such beautiful songs, and the melody singing is other worldly - takes these great songs to a whole other level of beauty.

Great stuff. What I can't understand is with such tight sweet pop songs, best suited by a simple sound, how one could get obsessive about the recording performance? These are the sort of songs that could shine quite easily with little embellishment. Any decent studio could accomplish that easily. Even a home studio. However it's not my music or band. I hear early Who in some of their stuff.

Alrite=JOHN POWER WROTE THIS ABOUT LEE MAVERS! Was Casts 2nd single release when the band split.. the name coming from the last word that The La's sang on the last track of the debut album

Wonderful, but so missing the brilliant harmonies of John Power!

Ron Sexsmith is a songwriting genius. So far, he has not received the credit he deserves.

Looking Glass is as good as any song recorded or written. Oasis or Coldplay would have loved to write something as sophisticated and unique.

I think they were the best band since The Beatles, as far as Pop goes. Funny, the Liverpool connection.
