I think 1 hour spent in just the target language would have been more productive for initial phrase learning. Basically the I-say-you-say format with big gentures or picture flashcards to solidify the concept. Then just repeat repeat repeat, because when you repeat you remember. ^^ Just like with super young kids, reading and written approaches right at the beginning are highly inefficient to acquire the first few basics. Hope he keeps up learning though. :) 화이팅 하세요. 한국어 배우는게 재미있는 취미 인데 어려운거 알아요. 🧠

Actually its a rule, that if the batchin 비읍 is next to 니은 it will be pronounced as 미음

I was a bit startled by the idea of batchim to learn as rules at first because they are a very natural thing to do - so I skipped the lessons because they make sense and are naturally applied with experience and exposure to Korean- but maybe that is dependant on your mother tongue (I believe we do similar 'shortcuts in French - same principle anyway)

Even though their facial features look alike, their skin and hair are very different. One is Caucasian and the other one is Middle Eastern/Latino. Must be quite a diverse gene pool, or they only have one parent in common.

You cannot separate adjectives (descriptive verbs) like that as far as I know, only action verbs. I’d look it up on google :)
