This horn was no different from the first one Enri used. However, this one summoned a full goblin army of 5,000 strong because Enri, as the leader of the goblin troop and the village, has reached a certain level within the commander job class. Unlocking the horns full power 📯⚔ 🔥 The rules and world building in this anime is one of my favorites 😆👍

Considering she's only level 6 I'm guessing the main reason it worked this way is because she blew it while her stronghold was under siege.

@@saljpal3 It's possible, but I personally believe it's more about her meeting certain conditions within that class. She may not be high level but she's reached her current level under unique circumstances. She blew the first horn of the goblin general, established a trusted leadership position with the goblins she summoned, was acknowledged as a leader by everyone in the village and helped organize the defense while under seige. I think how you reach your level is just as important as the level itself 💯

@@saljpal3 Not really, the only reason Ains and most players didn't know about the hidden effect is because on face value, an individual horn is ridiculously weak. No one would bother to summon the first troop, and then very few would have invested the time into becoming their commander. Enri met all of those conditions in her own way.

@@supernaturalawesome1 since this item is from the game i don't think is because she stablished good relation with the goblins, maybe is more like "make your goblins last certain time without dying" and have levels in general, or something like that.

Enri has 6 levels, 1-peasent (before meeting Ains) 1-seargent 2- commander 2- general so with jobs in general part of the horn's power activated. no doubt people with levels in general tried it before but like people said before, might require something to do with the original goblins still being alive or having good relations with them.

Fun fact, in the novel it is said that Lupus is looking for goblin summoning in Nazaricks library to be brought to meet Barbro, but all the goblins there are too damn strong but later she finds red cap goblin summoning as the weakest goblin magic summoning possessed by Nazarick ( and also as the strongest goblin seen in this episode) I dont remember where so dont ask I also think this goblin has a background but I cant remember dont ask

I love the fact that the whole reason that Enri was able to summon the goblin host of 5000 assorted warriors is because she treated the first smaller squad she summoned as loyal compatriots and family, thus unknowingly levelling up her Commander class to the point that her last use of the horn activated its secondary, far more powerful effect.

The Three Kingdoms era is very popular in Japan so no surprise that the Goblin Strategist is based on Zhuge Liang's appearance lol. Fun Fact: We haven't really seen the true forms of most of the Pleiades, including Lupusregina. As the name suggest... yeah, she's a big-ol' werewolf. With a bunch of healing spells because fuck you that's why. Gotta hand it to the whacky player-designed NPCs. Considering the author was kinda upset his D&D group wasn't playing (much?) anymore he started writing Overlord. Makes you wonder how much of those ideas came from his and his friend's D&D campaigns.

@@romanpyatibratov4361 I think they use the troops as extra labour. They were desperately short in earlier episodes and were trying to attract more people, so having a few thousand extra bodies is a bit of a mixed blessing. I can't remember if Ainz helped a bit as well or not.
