Switch OLED Right Joy Con Sensor Rail Replacement

Today I will demonstrate how to replace the right Joy Con Sensor Rail for a Nintendo Switch OLED version. If you are having problems keeping your Joy Con connected and have already ruled out the controller itself, this may help to restore connectivity to your right Joy Con.

The Philips is a Wera PH000. The tri-point is a Y00 from ifixit.

For harder rail screws are you used tripoint? I cant get them out.

hello, do you have any suggestions on what to do if my the rail is working to charge joycons, but it still does not detect on the switch?

I had that issue for my right rail, ended up ordering replacement rails from Amazon and following this video - it's working now with the new rail

There is so much annoying with the switch oled repair, first the kickstand screws are annoying the little netting things at the bottom just fold over, the power and volume buttons get paid to unalign. Thanks for the video but this console is hell

I agree, they really went for a lot of annoying little components. Those nets are a pain and sometimes lining up the back panel can be tricky.
