God and Health, a Christian Science lecture by Rob Gilbert

In 2014, my daughter was given aStage 4 Breast Cancer diagnosis. She was hysterical and called me crying. I flew to her city in the next few weeks and was there for her mastectomy surgery. I emailed Rob Gilbert and he wrote me back beautiful words about my daughter and healing. After her surgery, the doctor came to talk with me. It seems all they found was a tiny pebble sized tumor which had not spread to her lymph. No chemo or radiation was necessary. I will never forget this exerience with Rob Gilbert and Christian Science.

She was fortunate. My Sister passed from cancer in 6 months after a tiny persistent cough. Everyone but me begged her to see doctors, with all believing medicine would have saved her. I have to believe there's Fate. 19 years later my brother had prostate cancer. He endured chemo then a 7 hour operation. I wish him well and send him videos like this one. Mom taught me that everyone does the best they can. My great grandmother experienced a significant healing with CS as did my Sister who was enabled to walk ad a child. I've had healing and expect to always be taken care of with God/Love.

At some time or another, I have heard -- all over the news, media, and in conversational circles -- the false beliefs concerning food and health and weight. But I am learning more, more, and more that food is just as material as any substance, and it can neither harm nor help in any way. At first I worried about what I was eating and had this habit of checking my figure in the mirror, but tonight I realized I need to stop looking at the body completely. Why try to prevent matter with matter? I asked myself. Christ said long ago that every house divided against itself cannot stand.

I have been reading M B E for four months and not much has happened. I am 79. Will it take me longer? I have a number of issues: prostate cancer; chemotherapy, loss of hearing in left ear, teeth problems,etc.. how's that for a start? It's over whelming and I am one step from living on the streets.
