2020!💎💎💎 I keep listening to this again and again as this is a new understanding A fresh view of a very painful past that years of therapeutic measures in conventional psychology never ever touched neither did journaling faith healings prayer groups 12 step all the books I read nor various drug treatments hypnotism baptism never touched! I thought there was just no hope for the pain of the past that stole everything and already I can feel this was what I was seeking! Ty! Gratified! 😢

My great uncle was also manipulated in to joining Hitler Youth..If they didnt join, the other boys would accuse them of being disloyal to the * faddaland*...and similar. Was almost like being in a horrible gang...

One of the clearest explications of Christian Science theology I've seen. His choice of Bible passages illustrate very effectively why Christian Scientists interpret Jesus' teachings in the way that they do. Gilbert's style is so earnest and free from pretense.

I also love this lecture. So clear, so simple, so practical. It reduces what may seem like difficult issues to deal with, into simple terms which can be easily achieved. I think we often limit our own ability to heal discordant situations by subconsciously believing we are not good enough ( guilt factor) or not advanced enough or not spiritual enough to succeed. This talk shows us that healing is indeed possible in all circumstances by going back to simple basics regarding the true relationship between GOD and man.

This is the Truth which was spoken with such selfless Love and giving! I had a healing as a child when I was told with care that God Loved me! I think I did not feel very loved at the time. We had a Practitioner present. I will listen to this lecture again, often as it was so wonderful and healing. God is always in control and we must understand this. Thank you so much! I have difficulty knowing or equating God's sacrifice for my abuse, for my lack, my inability to maintain a relationship, or even have someone who wants me. I know I accept Jesus and I am God's child, but how can God's sacrifice help me in these areas? It is confusing and all I know is that his sacrifice is only for our sins and bad things that come from the sin we inflicted on others and ourselves.

Hello, James. Thank you for your question. Most Christian Scientists have found that healing through prayer is more reliable for them and their families than dependence on material means. However, Christian Scientists have great respect for medical professionals who devote themselves to the health and welfare of mankind. Through Christian Science, people have found a healing method that improves them physically, morally and spiritually, and does not have a list of harmful side effects. Christian Science healing is often quicker and more permanent than managing disease or pain through medical treatment. However, the choice of treatment for any problem is left up to the individual Christian Scientist. That's often the first question that someone will ask a Christian Scientist. While Christian Scientists usually turn to prayer for healing, there are times they may go to a doctor too. It's a personal decision. I remember talking to a practitioner once and hospitals came up and she said they are a place of hospitality. That's a good thought. All good things work together spiritually.

I wish he'd say where he got his ideas from, how he came to helieve the things he claims. Explanations. How can a human being claim God did not create disease? Who else should have? Consequences of how we use our free will, I'd presume.
