Just beautiful. No words to describe how beautiful your choir sings as well as the musicians. Nothing like the old hymns that are so relative today yet! Amazing!

Why the words on wall???

Because they probably got rid of their hymnals.

Why no choir robes???

If you're dress nicely to come to church, why bother covering up what you're wearing with a robe On church I went to the choir started using them because the clothing being worn by some of the women was to inappropriate to be worn in public and pastors didn't want to address the issue like they should have!

i would guess it was because of covid precautions. robes are communally stored, and notice they are wearing masks.

@@d.schoepflin2247 it's tradition for the choir to wear robes in methodist churches.

Makes me sick to see hymnals going away

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Methodist choir that didn’t wear robes. Weird.

Given the wildfire-like spread of omicron in the church, no one wants to be in the tight confines of the robing rooms. We may have an alternate arrangement for robing in the near future- stay tuned!
