Rom 16:20, "And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly." Gen 3:15, "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." KJV The woman's seed is Jesus Christ. He is the one that bruises Satan's head. Only the LORD Jesus Christ can destroy Satan: 2 Thes 2:8, "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and destroy with the brightness of his coming." In the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses, let every word be established. Let God be true, and every man a liar.

Amen. i don't know why Father keeps using the term 'adoption' regarding mankind. God created us. we were always His children. We needed Christ to wash clean our sins. why are we adopted. i had my mother here on earth, and i also had the Blessed Mother. she is my mother too. not my adoptive mother.

@la pace sia con voi Are you Divine by nature? Only Jesus is the natural Son of God, we creatures can only have a relationship with an Infinite Divine Person unless he elevates us by Grace through a second birth which is the Sacrament of Baptism. We are therefore "adopted" therefore. We were not children of God from our birth but children of wrath because of Original Sin. You became a child of God at Baptism. Read again the conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus about being Born Again, i.e. second birth = Baptism.
