Thank you for this, the highlight that God doesn't want what is perfect but what is honest from our hearts has stood out for me, not to wait for perfect time, perfect equipments and resources but to do what He has put in my heart with authenticity and genuine purpose. Thank you Sadie and Taya

“God can’t bless who you’re trying to be.” What an insight and a blessing to ponder. (Ah, my longwinded goofy comments. I did it again. But this is a good one, I promise. Whoever reads, may he/she understand.) God won’t bless inaccurate ideas, plans, reputations, doctrines, competitions, attitudes, expectations, etc. It would not be building upon true. It would not be how He is and how He designed things from eternity and the truth of what you are currently. God won’t cancel out His Own Truth. We want revival. But I doubt very many of us understand - OR AGREE - what that would truly be, in the holistic sense, other than the first half-dozen things that we are hoping for. Is there unity? There is coming to be, God is not ultimately silent. I disagree with an analogy that Taya made, that conflicts with her first point. She referred to the ministry from stage being the mountaintop, and every day living being the valley. Surely from the perspective of numerous eyeballs it sure is. And we sure get a ton of practice from those angles. We do so much preparation, and have such high expectation, and receive so much from the stage and lectern (including in online formats). And most wise playwrights would agree that “all the world is a stage.” Often it is the exact opposite. The stage is work. The mountaintop - or at least a higher and truer mountaintop - is the prayer room when communication is finally confirmed and validated with God. Isn’t that how it was with Moses? I guess you could say that any moment of triumph and accomplishment is a ‘mountaintop’ (like Elisha confronting the false prophets) but really? Moses at the Burning Bush or Moses on the top of Mount Sinai - that is the mountaintop. Jesus alone in prayer with his Father. You could say Jesus on the cross was a hilltop. YET. I think that was more a labor of love in the valley, obviously. In retrospect, everything can be seen as victory. And in retrospect, the victory is not in the greatness of the eyeballs. It is in the meaning you have enjoyed with God, personally. (The church brotherhood is ‘migrating’ homeword to where it really is historically been home. We are learning to shore up the family front & neighbor front with more holistic & immersive media in this hour. It is a battle front. And to smile & be gracious while knowing & securing & clarifying what’s-what. What is the Kingdom of God and what it is not. I mean, I grew up among those who say they wanted revival. The most spiritual women I knew were not those on the staged mountaintop. They were the genuine and unsung prayer “ralliers” of small time, quiet, fun, Saturday morning prayer meetings. Or the men who just decided to do something for a few years and others joined them. Or one gal I knew, who hardly ever approached a stage or lectern - yet was all into prayer for hours at a time, conversation (with God or others), and obedience to what she knew. She was approached by the math teacher at her public high school to lead that years unofficial Bible club, which she reluctantly did (and she got quite a few to listen - I think she invited them over from her 1990's multicultural club!). I never met or heard of a mid-teen so perceptively spiritual, who heard from God daily, received visions, rebuked demons, who was simply genuine, if sometimes briefly conflicted - like one time God told her to stop listening to rap (secular and/or ‘christian’). And hardly anybody was the wiser about her mountaintop experiences, because they were in her everyday life.). I’m not there yet in some ways - in touch with it all - in clear obedience, in seamless communion, to be bold from honest and prepared and obedient simplicity. So like a sculptor, God must continue to sculpt or wait, rather than me having prepared and waiting on Him. So if Jesus is not in avid & clear communication with you daily, even when he is, that means there’s much more traveling to be done. God is ‘like’ “I can’t bless you in that way. You’re trying my patience. You don’t know.” (This video only came up 360 resolution. No big deal. Google-Alphabet messing with me? Didn’t like my comment about Leviticus and tatoos? lol 😊 Here’s to praying about this December-January. There probably will be political-economic mean-ness, but I know we’re not the mean ones. 😊 That should seem fairly obvious. Ugh, materialist Malthusian elitists. If the world is a stage, they are among the worst players, bar none.) In a vision that God showed Brian Guerin a few months ago (this is not a complete recommendation, but Kingdom is Kingdom) God showed him a vision of Jesus. Sitting in a darkened, unlit corner of a room, utterly full of grace, dignity, contentment, and utmost humility. I don’t like to think about what that means for these next few years, but I’ve seen some of its better aspects already.
