Part 1 and Part 2 of Al and Lisa's redemption story are two of my favorite episodes of the podcast so far! What a powerful godly couple. I'm reminded of the part of Proverbs 24:16 that says "For a righteous man may fall seven times and RISE AGAIN..."❤

This really got to me! Thank you for the guidance and advice. My husband and I are teenage sweethearts & have been together almost 20 years(married for 10). When we were younger we both cheated on each other. I’m so glad we stuck with it. We’re each others best friend & have 3 boys & a baby girl. I’m so grateful for God’s grace(our baby girl’s middle name)! We started having a relationship with Jesus about 5 years ago & man, the fruit of the spirit is so real! God bless you all & please pray that we put God first & that everything that is good will flow from there! 🙏

After 25 years of marriage i was unfaithful my husband was and is a preacher. We got divorced. After 5 years being apart we remarried will be 41 years together in April. God had turned my life around. Thank you so much for sharing your storys. God bless you all.❤

Lisa you are a strong woman in Christ and I admire you for your testimony and honesty. You and Alan have been through a lot and God is using you both to help others who have and are going through similar problems. We watch all your families podcasts and reruns of DD. Watched The Blind a half a dozen times and shared the DVD with church family to watch. You’re all so amazing and I can see Christ in all of you and that’s encouraging to me. I gave my testimony last year for the first time and it was so freeing and empowering. I was a victim of incest and thought I had to please men. I was shunned by my family when I was in my early thirties because I opened up and exposed that secret. It was a lonely place but I knew I had to say something to protect a 13 year old foster sister who had made a comment to her worker about the way my dad kissed her good night. Immediately I knew I had to say something and I’m so glad I did. I was 65 when I was released from the guilt and shame that haunted me all my life. God is so so good and has given me the peace and boldness to reach out to other’s. God bless the Robertson family for your ministry ❤

So good! Thank you for sharing and being transparent. It sets us free and will help many. 🙌 My husband and I were both unfaithful to each other. We have a beautiful story of repentance before God and then the Lord’s forgiveness, faithfulness and redemption. The Lord told me to get in the cleft of the rock and he was going to create a miracle. He did! We chose forgiveness, God’s way and he saved our marriage. Also, in turn, he said we broke the curse of divorce by choosing to forgive and stay married. (Note: Both of our parents had divorced.) So thankful that my sons and grandchildren will never get divorced. Praise Jesus!! 😀

Their story is so powerful and inspirational! I have never had a good example of a loving, healthy, marriage, or even how to work for your marriage, until I met my husband and saw his parents and their marriage. I am so grateful to God, that he placed them in my life. They have helped me heal just by being around them and their example that they give me, my husband, his siblings, and our family of a good, Godly marriage. Al and Lisa’s story is so powerful. The story of God redeeming their marriage, healing their past experiences, and using them as a vessel to show other couples that marriage is difficult but you can find forgiveness and heal, and continue your relationship through Christ. It’s just so inspiring! God is using them, to show other couples that not everyone in the church is judgmental or condemning. They are showing Gods love to others and spreading a message of forgiveness and hope. I’ve loved learning about the Robertsons and how their lives have all been radically transformed by Jesus! Sadie is so wise and I’ve always been inspired and in awe of her. You truly see Gods light shine through her! God bless you all! ❤

Sadie thanks for taking the time with your Aunt and Uncle. To shine the light on the truth in their life. I had the same experience but I didn’t find out about my husband’s affair until the day he died. The forgiveness that they gave each other is so beautiful. Forgiveness is the key. Thanks for airing the whole story.

Thank All of you!! You really never know how God will use you for others!!!!!!!!!! Thank You! God Bless you! I wish I lived closer, and one day we may take a trip your way to meet you. Hello I just watched Part 1 and Part 2. It is 3:00am here in Abilene Texas. I couldn't sleep so I got on line and this popped up and I started watching. I have watched your family for years and have been so impressed with yalls story, and honesty. I love Al and Lisa. I'm so impressed by them. They have been through so much and still are committed to each other. Their story hits home with me. As a young man (child) I was with a girl and agreed to an abortion. This hurts my heart to this day. I have sinned. And I have lived through some things when I was a young boy that still affects me to this day. Please pray for me and my family. That I can be a better dad, husband, friend. I have thought many times that I wanted to drive to yalls home town and meet Mr. Robertson and have him put his hands on me and pray for me. But I have never done it. Anyways I will finish watching Part 2. God bless and I hope that you get this message.

“Jesus is the Everlasting Father with compassion for His children. He pities his children and shelters them with His love (Psalm 103:13). His mercy endures forever and you can anticipate his forgiveness with joy. Above all, these benefits are yours to enjoy for eternity, if only you surrender your life to Him” WHOA THATS GOOD! There should be no redemption for the type of cheating she did. She is evil. She slept with another man for an extended period of time that worked at the same church they ran. That is just one of her cheating partners. No she does not disserve to be in such a great family. What a complete disgrace. She made him the laughing stop of that community, and made her kids go through hell for her wanting other men to sleep with. What a real dirt bag.
