The update isn't out yet, but it will be soon! A day or two most likely! I just wanted to get this video out before releasing it. Your new changes really help me in the new run I am doing THANK YOU for ALL THIS work. I watched the Icaris Live stream it was funny seeing you there trying to help him in the chat. I felt bad for him since he tumble on the settings and other inventory setting needed. I was able to partly overcome and enjoy the mod. It was funny and at the same time watching his stream, since a lot of the tools for fighting legendary is in your item inventory as I later found out during my plays. I think he thought it was a way more difficult version CF and some people may have not gotten the correct impression during that stream .

Hold your horses a little on the release, UV. I discovered a bug with the music. If there are multiple leg or stronger enemies alive at the same time and you create a save while they are alive and reload that save, the legendary music will stop playing and revert to the level music until you kill one of those enemies. From what I noticed, it at least seems to affect the bosses that spawn after rank ups. From what I can describe what happened to me, i left True Leg Phase Imp (spawned from rank up) and True Leg Hell Knight (in level) alive in the level and when i ranked up to T6 and got True Leg Tormentor spawned, i saved the game. When i died and reloaded, the True Leg Tormentor theme stopped playing and went right back to level music until the True Leg Tormentor was killed, then went to True Hell Knight theme as it should. Anyway, this music problem didn't happen in the Zandronum version as the music just goes back to the strongest boss during that save.

I'd love a feature to turn off the uber monsters like the legendarys and the higher ones. This is a lot of fun but way above my skill level when one of them shows up and it stops being fun and I can't progress, or I spend a lot of time just banging my head against a wall. I don't play it any more. I know you have the percentage thinger but I'd like to see an on/off button; no legendarys etc. I still love all of this and keep up the hard work

Hey UV. I have an idea to help newer players. How about adding a sign next to the enemies' health bars that shows the monster's level of danger? It could be as simple as displaying a number.

Yo bro! Thx for guide and working on the update, despite the problems. I'm personally glad the doom community has imo one of the best mod dev. Also I do have the some questions. Sorry if I asking too much, but still gonna ask. 1. Are there any plans of rework the D-BFG, like update the sprites as imo it looks pretty old and blurry. Perhaps update sounds. Why I do think of rework, simple, D-BFG doesn't really feels as unique weapon much. Although it has exclusive ammo type, dmg type and unique sounds. The current D-BFG is rather hybrid of bfg10k and DT-BFG10k, which is not really unique. How about it would have switch modes, like the horizontal blade attack similar to Enraged leg bfg, but less powerful. As bonus: when in theory will be more weapons which would use the rarely used D-Cells ammo type? I know it would take long, so take your good time bro. 2. How about nerf the monster pushback the player. Because, the massive pushback often freaks me out. It feels really annoying af. 3. I do noticed in your game files the void rune is mentioned. In Phase Ninja, if wondering. Is there possibility of Void rune come back, because I do miss it. Edit: I very liked the system of starting with choosen progress. This is great addition! Same as I liked the weapon updates as well. Keep working as your time and creativity allows! :-)

Void Rune is not coming back but I am planning on doing something about the DBFG and making the BFG10k upgrade into it Also if you see the previous video there's a part about the player's mass increasing over time so you don't get pushed back as much

Nice guide, I have a native 4K screen and had problems with the item bar being EXTREMELY small regardless of scaling setting used. This fixed it. Now I have a weird problem with 2 screen setup - one is native 4K (main screen) and the other is native 1080p (aux screen for youtube etc). I want to play the game fullscreen on main screen, but don't want to play in 4k resolution as that is a lagfest. Setting windowed 1080p is bad, it opens the game in a tiny window covering 1/4th of the screen. Setting it to fullscreen opens the game on my OTHER screen, not the main one. Idk how to fix this. Why FS mode opens the app on 2nd screen? Nvidia settings maybe? But what is the EXE i need to tweak? I use ZDL3.

Man I have no idea how to fix the multi-screen thing. I have two screens as well and don't have that issue. I just googled it and found this "In the Console, type vid_listadapters to show a list of the available displays and their numbers, then vid_adapter to select one. I believe you will need to restart GZDoom for the change to take effect, but it will persist". I think type "vid_adapter 1" or "vid_adapter 2", and restart GZDoom.

When we have a rage rune active with a sphere of power will the attack speed stack or will only one be active?

No stacking, the firerate is really at its limit lol

@@UltraViolenceDoom so don't use power sphere if you have rage rune active unless you have a weapon where its damage is boosted by the effect of the power sphere, basically I would waste a sphere in this case?

@@Lallushe Rage Rune doesn't empower weapons tho. Sphere of Power also levels up the Dtech Rifle, Explosive Rifle, etc to their special Empowered variants, which the Rage Rune does not
