I can't help but note the bittersweet tone, especially in the lyirics. It's really fitting too, especially given the more dire state of the world as of 3, particularly the focus on loss, given how badly the world regressed when the Calamity happened and spat Ashblight everywhere, especially after how good things were looking after the end of Rage Burst, now everyone has to live underground because even the air wants to eat you now. But, fortunately, it's certainly got plenty of sweet in with that bitterness; yeah, the world's still a steadily decaying trash heap full of eldritch all-consuming apex predators, but at the least, it's starting to look up. AGE's are being given actual respect, the Ash Tempest was dealt with without having to resort to any human(oid Aragami) sacrifice to stop it, and things are steadily getting better, between the Hounds trying to link up Europe with the rest of the greater Eurasian continent via their planned Port network and Ein looking to meet up with the Far East to put a stop to the Ash for good, it's safe to say that the worst is behind us now. Until God Eater 4 finds a way to wreck things even worse. Almost makes a guy miss when the only worry was Nova eating Earth for lunch and resetting the ecosystem.

Just finished code vein. I’m starting to think there’s a connection between the two games. Or at least this song might be. It feels like the lyrics were meant for the protagonist of that game since the theme is loss and moving on. “What’s lost is gone and never will come back again,” “life must move on, though never the same” and especially “now this heartache is all I know”. That sounds too similar to the themes of CV. Especially since when they lose Io, heartache is almost all they have left and now try to find a new future for Revenants in her name

Zenris Setsuna I meant the themes in this song fit code vein better than GE3. This song has themes of loss and moving on, but we were able to take back everything we lost whereas the revenants didn’t. The protagonist of that game lost someone who meant everything to them and now has to find a way to live without her.

I love the female protagonist in GE3, i feel like everyone is sleeping on her side of the story, if you think of it the. Female protagonist matches with everyone so well hell the interactions with hugo is great and with phym for how she calls you mommy and stuff, If they were to make a back story for the female protagonist I will be happy. Love it or not , this is our last god eater game , after we enter the era of ps5 ... There properly don't have a game like this anymore ...all we can do is "miss" ...... Miss the time we seen this game at the first time when we first buy our PsP , miss the hours we play it on our Ps Vita...now for the last ever God eater say "Hi" to us on our current Ps4 console ......but it's also the last for us to play it , so I'm enjoy it every bit to the last of the game until the end of the story ......it's just like "God eater" are saying farewell to me at the end . This game is my very first PsP game , I bought PsP because just wanted to play this game , after I got my collector edition god eater 3 on my ps4 , I have a mix feeling , the feeling that are happy but feel sad at the same time , cause I know this is the last time I see the new god eater game , after this there will be no more...... @Ms. Mizore its convoluted the way the games keeps retconning the lore...we went from Aragami devouring for the sake of devouring with no need for rest or sleep to them becoming simple animals that eat, sleep and shit...we went from Aragami always leading up to the Devouring Apocalypse to Ashstorms that can kill regular instead of the Red Rain forcing evolutions in regular Aragami, human Aragami becoming a thing but never fully explained or seen in 3....after the Ashborn theyll probably introduce another species because as Jira said...the basic lore is that the Aragami exist because they need to reset the Earth through the Devouring Apocalypse so the only way the series ends is if humanity finally dies out or they find the being/hivemind responsible for the Aragami.

God eater 3 hasn't ended, maybe some of you had put the game down but they are now on the second part past the first ending just like they did on the other 2 games in free new chapters, remember 1 has 3 stories and 2 has 2, 3 is just starting the second one, fire it up again i you will see, the new stuff has to do with ein(soma) still hasn't shown where the cast from 1 and 2 are tough

While I am sad that God Eater 3 is probably the last God Eater game we will get, and All I Know the last ending theme, I am still happy where they left it off: Phym reunited with her mother and her family, Ein managed to move on, the Hounds are well on their way to making their own port, and thus their dream, a reality, technology is improving by leaps and bounds with things like the adaptive armor, and life is looking up for AGEs. Instead of a cliffhanger, we get this happy conclusion, a satisfying note to leave the God Eater series off on. I also find it fitting that the song talks about having to move on, just like we must do with the God Eater series; we were so happy playing God Eater, and now that it is (probably) over, this heartache is all we know, All I Know.

The first two God Eater games I played as the Male (almost every single game) because it looks cool but for some reason there is this gut feeling that I needed to pick female role for this particular game which God Eater 3. If you know the formula they do on every GE endings then you know. It feels more powerful and emotional the role they gave to you as the main character and I'm glad I picked the right gender.

@@nightstar4912 traded fatal bullet in honestly the story was boring the enemies uninspire and at times were overleveled to beat hell. I tired powering through it but i just couldn't get around the fact that it really was dull all the way around. Granted i've beaten games to say i've beaten them but the first 30 hours of the game was so amazing that i was still sucked in and hoped the last 10 were just as good...but i realized that Fatal Bullet peaked at 5 hours, if that...after customizing and the first three or four missions and i realized i was in for a slog.

i played as the female protag and let me tell you that i love it so much it matches the feelings within the other chara in the game and on GE3 i stilled played as the female protag and it was still wonderful [ and i totally ship hugo and female protag btw] i could write a whole comment about how its good to play as the female cause if you think of it as the boy protag...sorry to say but...ALL THE GIRLS IN GE2RB WERE SIMPS I AM SORRY BUT ARE YOU KIDDING ME...they fell for the main chara so i moved onto the female protag..

100% agree to this. In GE1 and GE2 I played a male and both felt correct there but first time playing GE3 I went for fem protag and the interactions just felt natural and fitting. And shit the moments with Hugo and femprotag, goddamn you can feel the chemistry between the two and their interactions. Claire was pretty flat for a female protagonist and you know that the devs were pushing the ship with her and male protag since she's for some reason a locked choice when getting Phym

Personally, I did the exact opposite: Played as a female protagonist in GE1 and 2 (the romance in GE2 didn't feel pushed at all to me ?? Ciel just wants to be besties and Nana is platonic) and male protag in GE3 (though I kept switching gender for the bonus content) because I really liked his og design and it didn't change interactions in any meaningful way. It's true that Claire is a bit pushed as a love interest in the game but she acts the same whatever your gender is - just as Hugo does btw. The romance in these games are always subjective and non-canon. Anyways, only Alisa felt pushed as a love interest, but then again it made sense in context. In GE2, I could as easily see Julius x Protag than Yuno/Ciel x Protag, for example (especially since a good chunk of the game resolves around him).

@@kumirapau-chan9880 yeah GE 1 protagonist is canonically male ver, since the prequel Ge2 manga actually kinda hinted about that. As for Ge2 itself I think both male and female kinda work, and for Ge3 female ver feels "right" compared to the male ver.
