Watching this only knowing his involvement in shmup community feels weird. Never had an idea he put that much effort in route discovery, so this video gave me some new appreciation for his skill. He's shown to be an extremely hard worker on a shmup side as well and is one of the best Ketsui players ever and is the best western Ketsui player period.

6:25 No, there is a third way. You need shade cloak, monarch wings, sharp shadow, spell twister and dreamgate - you can bypass the acid pool with a convoluted skip from the left side of Teacher's Archives. Dreamgate is needed to escape the monomon hardsave. In fact I have beaten the game without collecting either Tear or CHeart. (obviously this is of no use in speedruns, but felt like pointing that out nonetheless)

I watched this video when it was first released, without knowing anything about Hollow Knight, but when the game went on sale a few weeks ago I recognised it and bought it for myself. Now coming back to the game after completing it 108% (still missing Pantheons) and routing it for myself to get sub 5 hours achievement, it's still an amazing watch.
