'God Is Absolutely Real': Dog the Bounty Hunter on Demonic Evil, Seeing 'Miracles'

Duane Chapman, more commonly known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, is known for chasing down criminals. But he's also on a mission to help people connect with the Gospel. Chapman, author of the new book "Nine Lives and Counting: A Bounty Hunter’s Journey to Faith, Hope, and Redemption," told CBN News he was brought up in a Christian home by a praying mom. "I knew more than most people did, right from wrong, miracles of God - I knew all that," he said, noting, though, that he got a bit off track at one point. "I went to prison in the 70s."
Chapman and three accomplices reportedly broke into a man's home on a search for marijuana. One of his accomplices shot and killed the man during a struggle. Chapman was sentenced to five years and served 18 months. After his jail time experience, Chapman was released and righted his wrongs, becoming a bounty hunter and launching on his path to a career that inevitably landed him with the show "Dog the Bounty Hunter," which aired new episodes from 2003 to 2012. Chapman, who has certainly had a plethora of success, has also had his share of heartbreak.
His wife, Beth, who joined him on his TV adventure died in 2019 after a cancer battle. He's since remarried and he's been on a journey of strengthening his faith alongside new wife, Francie. "I know God is absolutely real," Chapman said. "I know that God told me years ago ... 'I'm going to show you miracles beyond [anything] that you could imagine, think, or want.'" He continued, "My faith has grown ever since Beth passed away about five years ago and I met Francie."
Chapman said he and his wife walk "hand-in-hand" in faith. The two also evangelize and speak to audiences together, sharing their Christian beliefs. As for Chapman's new book, Nine Lives and Counting: A Bounty Hunter’s Journey to Faith, Hope, and Redemption," he's hoping to see the text reach hearts and minds. He doesn't degrade the people he captures. He talks to them to find out what is going on with them. Showing compassion, he tries to show them there is a better way. He offers them some comfort, whether it be food, drink or even a cigarette if that is what they ask for and someone around him has any. Then he offers to pray with them and offer's them to stay in touch with him. That he might be able to help them move in the right direction and maybe even unto salvation. People seem to forget, Jesus didn't come to the righteous or the self righteous. Jesus came for those who are sick and lost, who are in need of a Savior and Salvation

I don't know how or why I ended up watching this but I used to watch DTBH, and thought it was a good family, but became disappointed learning more, but this makes me feel better about spending my time on any of it. I gave up my chance at fame, am broke, educated, but have found God. Something has kept me alive. I want to believe my Dog is good. Nobody is perfect but our Creator. I had a decent paying job and then found out that I had sugar.. I ended up losing my right leg behind it and the heel off of my left foot. I have many other serious health conditions now too. Needless to say my working days are over. I prayed to father Abba and our Lord Jesus asking for help. I had lost my home with only twelve payments left. I also lost my sports car. I was feeling so desperate. I continued to pray and pray harder for provision from our Lord God. He heard my prayers. No, he doesn't. He's not lived a saintly life, he's been in prison and a womanizer. Even his children have major issues with him. I hope he's found the Lord for real and not doing this just for media attention because he loves the attention.The man is just an imperfect human just like us. I have nothing against him and saw him 2x at a local convenience store when he lived in Colorado. I didn't approach him but he still told us hello and smiled as he walked by.

I'm also very happy Dog found a new partner wife. Beth & he had such a wonderful love bond, but Dog is correct, men need a mate.
