I put on the spiritual armor of God EVERY SINGLE MORNING with my husband and children. Before I leave the house. Sometimes when we’re having a Saturday just doing stuff around the house and we might forget to put it on. As soon as the disharmony starts between any of us, we stop what we’re doing and put it on. It makes a HUGE difference.

animals mimicking speech is just biology. it's an evolutionary adaptation with numerous uses. people 'past the point of death' being resuscitated is a product of modern medical practice, biology, and chemistry. the systems in the body can continue operating with proper stimulation even after brain death. nothing fantastic about that. neither of those things lend credibility to the claims in the bible, and the bible has it's own issues with massive inconsistencies and a lack of traceability.

There's not just one type of death medically speaking. Once all neural activity ceases and you're declared brain dead I doubt resuscitation is of much help, but there are things like the Lazarus effect where prolonged cardiac arrest can spontaneously reverse. This is rare though and there is neural activity throughout the process so they were never really "dead" in the above sense. On your point about human speech mimicry, being able to mimic does not mean they understand it at the same level as humans. You can teach parakeets to repeat phrases proficiently but you can't have a conversation with it. We can "talk to" great apes using rudimentary hand signs and communicate emotionally with dogs and cats, but it's nowhere near language as such.

Nothing would beat the ability to heal people. Although you’d have to put effort into hiding your identity from people, or you’d never get a moment of peace ever again. Re the background knocks: Dr G might not be the only one in the house, for one thing. As for the “Julia” saga, he really only told it once. If you look at the beginning of the video and watch the cat-Julia part again (which is much briefer and less detailed than the later telling) you can see that it functions like the trailer for a film, rather like a preview, and there are a lot of clues that this is the case which aren’t hard to spot if you look for them. For one thing there is the confetti thing which you’ll notice right away. You can also notice a few transition places where some bits were cut out here and there, but I didn’t notice that until I looked at it again. There are some “ads” done by CB, announcements, and also words (bottom left corner, which suggest some cuts were made-“Coming up…” or something like that). Anyway, Dr G did not tell the same story three times-he definitely has his wits about him, which is for sure a desirable quality in a psychiatrist. 😉

Just for people to know - it takes an immense amount of devotion, time, and energy to perform an astral projection or demonic influence to take over animals. It's nowhere near worth becoming involved with dark entities that will likely not leave you alone for the rest of you life. Or longer. In "Julia's" case, it sounds as if what attracted her to the dark occult/occult was the ability to see things or know things that wouldn't otherwise be perceived. This, however, is a natural ability which simply needs to be developed. Any demonic influence can only give you what would naturally be yours with effort. It is again nowhere near worth the involvement with the lower astral.

I wished some priest could help my ex mentally ill friend who I loved tried SO hard to help cheer her only left empty handed with no good Godly results in 7 1/2 yrs! She mocked the VM in an episode and I have never seen someone SO SAD in my life and SO self-absorbed in the past as if living in the present but focusing on her past! She is always thinking about herself and her perceived problems ;( She is like a baby with colic Never happy always unconsolable always whining! Imagine being in a wheelchair and having your friends trying to get you to walk because it is all in your head. doesn't happen does it? imagine having a mental health condition that causes fifty percent of those afflicted to take their own life and have "friends" that tell you it is all in your head and you need to stop dwelling on your problems, when rumination is a symptom of your problem, not a choice. it happens. I believe that sometimes suicide is a way to escape the ignorance of your friends whom seem to be judging you for something out of your control. i have gone no contact with friends and family whom seemed to judge Me because their concern is their own embarrassment of me. a person tends to get sick of apologizing for having a mental illness. The love of God helps, but do not disregard the lessons of Job, he never denied God, but relief of his suffering was not immediate. Sometimes the suffering have more faith than those who only observe the suffering.

We're not to talk to demons or believe a word they say. This seems like a spectacularly I'll judged venture, if it actually happened. I'm Catholic, I believe demons are active in the world - I also think these people were at best delusional, at worst patsies to the forces they claimed to fight. You don't stroke a demons ego by letting it flex its powers. We shouldn't talk to or build up these things. If the woman was truly possessed she couldn't be liberated unless she truly wanted it. To liberate her without her accepting the gift of the Holy Spirit is something the Church teaches against. The demon would come back with seven worse than himself and her final statw would be worse than her first. It's a great disservice to exorcise someone who doesn't want Christ. The priest should have known that.

Catholics tend to have an approach toward exorcisms where they engage the demon over a period of time. Encourage it to speak, prove its powers, etc. Maybe they do it for documentation purposes. In the Bible, people were set free immediately. The only time it wasn't totally immediate was with Legion. Maybe they are going off that.

The fact that he may be convinced it's true doesn't make it so. People become convinced of all kinds of things that aren't true without being disingenuous. The point is that we can't witness what he claims to have witnessed in any independent, objective manner. He has a lot of books that don't provide real evidence, which immediately raises red flags for me. Now, if he, with all his experience, had actually documented these events in a manner that could be verified, we'd have something interesting to talk about. So far he's in the same category as those that say they were abducted by aliens, saw Elvis last week, or had lunch with Bigfoot.

First of all it’s obviously pretty important WHO is telling a story. Obviously everyone knows those certain people who are just liars, and you’ve learned to disregard their over the top stories. So after disregarding such people, what I find so interesting about stories like this (while wearing my skepticism cap) is that certain people who have stories like this are people who aren’t bashed by skeptics as being blatant liars…they are bashed by skeptics for being sincere victims of brainwashing, and for sincerely believing in their bad arguments. So it’s very interesting when someone who isn’t known for being a blatant liar tells a story like this. By all means bash the arguments that they offer…however it doesn’t even make sense that this guy would be brainwashed into thinking that his cats acted this way, followed by accidentally being brainwashed to believe that a woman then made the cat remark the very next day. No that’s more of an all or nothing thing there, you’re either completely lying, or we need to think of an explanation for those two happenings. Now I don’t know this guy in particular, but I do know some people with certain very rare stories of this caliber who don’t at all come across to me as people who just make things up (that literally happened to them in exact detail). Another interesting thing is that these people don’t even use these stories at all as their go to arguments for their beliefs…which goes back to my comment about what skeptics usually bash them for, it’s almost as if they don’t even consider elevating these stories to hold more priority because they consider their usual arguments to be great ones (the arguments that skeptics laugh at).
