@@augustinad3646 because ive been trying to become obedient(stop sinning) but i know i haven’t become completely obedient yet. If im honest im not 100% sure if i have Gods Spirit in me or not, sometimes at that time ill feel nearly 100% im feeling the Spirit in me(everything seems so clear, i spot sin everywhere and things that use to tempt me aren’t tempting me during that time etc..other times i may only feel 10% sure ive been born again with the spirit) The reason i ask is because ive been hoping that God can take us without us being completely obedient (since im having a hard time becoming obedient because of an addition) im asking because i wonder a lot about for me to receive the Spirit and be filled with it the way you two sound. My wuestion is “Can God save me from here or will i have to figure out a way to kick the addiction first”

When I got one of my first jobs, which lasted 13 1/2 years, had a co-worker who would all day long blast Christian music on her radio all day long so I would have to listen to it and she was always talking about God. I hated it and she knew it and she was always smiling and laughing at me and never quit and I hated it. Later in life I started to listen to her radio and look back on all the right things she did. Finally in time I actually wanted to be like her and 40 years + later I admire her so much and I try to be like her. She was an ambassador in my life when I need it most and did not know it. I am 62 years old and to this day this woman is the influence that has brought me to God. I hope some day I have the opportunity to give back someday.

This is incredible. Yesterday I poured my heart to Him and cried to Him calling on Him to guide me and to help me to let go of my sins and to focus on Him and not the world. I have always been a believer of Christ but lately I have been feeling very little of His presence. It scared me how empty and purposeless my life was feeling. All my life I have been sought out by both family and friends and even complete strangers for advice. At first I didn’t mind, but then it became annoying because it happens so often, but now I see that people I know and even complete strangers pour out all their deepest troubles on me because God knows I have the ability to write and to speak and council. And I always talk of God when I give those people advice. I am short, I am emotional, and I am also a girl. All those things are looked down on in this world but for God I am made the way I am supposed to be. Last night I had a dream that I was with a different man than the one I am with now. But that other man did not satisfy me nor make me feel loved or purposeful. That man I was holding represented my idols and the world. I left the man and then I was eating fruit but when I looked at the fruit it was rotting. I knew what it meant. It meant I was eating from the world and that my spirit was becoming sick. I knew that I had to throw it away and I did. After that I came to my boyfriend and asked for forgiveness and realized that I wanted him and not the random man and that I had made a mistake and hurt my man so much. I woke up crying, because my dream wasn’t really about my boyfriend. It was a symbol of how I had started to choose the world over the one man who truly loves me know matter what, God. I knew that God was speaking to me in my dreams and I realized how much hurt I was causing Him and myself (the rotting fruit that I ate) When I saw this video in my timeline I knew it was God speaking to me and showing me sign that He heard my cries and prayers. I knew that my purpose in life is not for this world but for His kingdom. I’m ready.
