But God has shown me too that this is idolatry. We should seek God first because He is the highest good and only He can fulfill that desire humans have for a relationship. Focus on the Lord and all will come in His time!

I truly started to do something that I said that I wouldn't do and that is question whether God hears my prayers. I've been having a pretty downslope lately. I came in into the new year with such high hopes and a positive outlook. It felt like all of the was slipping away and then I see this video. My negative thoughts began to fade. I recently stated in one of your previous videos about going to California. I am now back in Texas, supporting my family after 4 lost loved ones have passed. However I did meet this guy in California about a year ago. The crazy thing is, I did not think much of him after meeting him. Fast forward to a year later, and he has been on my mind. The thoughts have intensified. I am not sure why, all of a sudden I am thinking of him consistently as we never dated and only spoke once. But I do believe we did share a special connection. It's possible by a miracle, that God could possibly bring us together somehow. If it is not in his will, I know that God will clarify this for me, so that I can move forward in my life and I am okay with us not being together. I tried looking for him on social media, with no luck so I'm not gonna try forcing it. If it's in God's will, then I won't have to force anything. I'm just gonna go with the flow.

Be careful, sometimes the enemy puts thoughts in our minds to distract us from the target God wants us to aim. Especially when the timing has arrived for us to receive a gift from God. Pray to the HS for wisdom and discerment, HE will give you a clear answer. Also pray for your ears to be healthy to hear what you need to hear and not what you want to hear. I share this with you because something similar happened to me and that is what I have learned. I wasted a lot of time getting sidetrack.. and missing God's target.. I'll be praying for you 😊

@@bekind1297 Absolutely. I'm a firm believer in lookin at things from an objective perspective. That's why when the thoughts crossed my mind before, I was not sure if it was Satan, me or God. I don't believe in letting certain events or people consume you, because it can take your focus away from God. I was just confused because I didn't understand.... why now? I do think that humanity is more connected than we think because from my experience, usually when someone suddenly crosses my mind, they end up contacting me or we see each other again.

First of all, I never said I was in love with this guy so I don't have strong feelings for him, like in your situation. That is not the case. I barely know this guy. That is why I said before, I didn't know if it was God, the devil or just me. Like I said before, you need to practice discerning spirits and look at things from am objective perceptive. I'm a firm believer in having an objective mentality. That's why I seek God first and not rely on my own thoughts or desires. If it wasn't meant to be, trust me, I'm cool with that. If it is, then it is. Either way, I know that God will clarify the answer for me in time. And in the meantime, I'm not wasting away, trying to prepare myself for someone I may or may not be with. I'm good. I'm still living my life and working on my physical health and being financially well. So my attention isn't just on this one guy. It's on my finances, my passion, my career, my family and the work that God needs me to do. I'm not letting this person, consume me. I'll pray for you. Sounds like you need to let that person go completely. However I cannot say this is the same case for me. So no, your story isn't exactly like mine. God bless.

This is an interesting topic that I'm recently learning. God's timing isn't aligned with our timing mostly time. Looking back to old testament we can see Sarah losing her faith because the promises didn't aligned with her expectations. But God did, just not when she expected. We also can see the people walking during 40 years to go to the promised land because they aren't ready to get the promise yet. So, sometimes we are not ready to get what we are praying for, sometimes God has a different purpose with this bless, or maybe we won't get it at all but it shouldn't matter because the most important than get gifts from God is to have an eternal life by his side.

AGW i thank you and i wholeheartedly listen to your advice. Things have never been easy since day 1, a broken home with both parents abusive emotionally and physically, which lead me to heavy drug abuse, depression and attempted suicide through pills. I've been clean for ten years and found a love in a career that i pursue and work heavily, but I still haven't landed that great job or found the right spouse. I pray almost everyday that one day God will bless me with both and I'm just trying to live a good life, but everyday is a tough struggle and this video was very helpful cause it reminds me if i have faith than I should trust god's timing.

The exact opposite could be true also, if you just go from one crappy job to another and you are miserable then that is a sign. You should never stay in a job you hate and sometimes God puts you in that position again and again so you stop and think about what you want. If I would have just waited and waited I would have never started my own business and still be miserable in a crappy job. Trust your intuition sometimes God is saying move on now.

I have been praying for my heart's desire for a year now. From the day I started praying for this I felt a strong feeling that God has answered my prayer. I just finished a prayer session while I was in the shower, then this popped up on my KZbin feed. Just what I needed. I've got a former co-worker and best friend who has a brother who is now a deacon. What got him to this point in his walk with God?? He became impressed, and moved every day at work when he watched me raise my voice to God in song, just so I could make it through the day. That, Mark is fruit produced for my brother in Christ, Andrew(the best friend) and Dion(the brother)
