Sorry for commenting again. But the bars surrounding the mercury scheme are the hardest. Mercury is a heavy metal. That will kill you dead with even a tiny amount of exposure. And it was also an element that "alchemists" thought had magical properties. And then Freddy Mercury, the lead singer of Queen. As well as a call back to Freddy Krueger .As well as the god Mercury/Hermes from Roman/Greek mythology being the god of "messengers" and thieves like "Robin Hood" it is the most deeply layered scheme on this track and doesn't get enough attention. And I'm sure I'm still leaving out some stuff involving that scheme. 😂Ren is an alien😁

Well broken down , for people like me who have only just now because of Ren found rap we need to understand it , I am slowly learning and explaining the breakdown and how each part fits together ( connects ) makes it more entertaining and enjoyable and easier to understand exactly what real rap / hip hop is ... Ren mentioned in an interview that the first time he meet his best friend Joe, Joe did a Swanton Bomb off a couch and Ren thought the kid was a little nuts! They were best friends from then on. Joe died by suicide in 2010. RIP Joe

Banished from the heavens but Im knocking on the sky - Living with depression is a blessing in disguise. I interpret that to mean - I want to end it but its not my time. Living with depression and not being unalive is a blessing. - I could be wrong but it makes sense to me - The swanton bomb is a nod to his best friend Joe - Ren remembers Joe coming in and doing swanton bomb move, breaking a bed. Joe was on a bridge in their home town in Wales ready to end his life in the early hours of the morning 2-3am. Another friend called Ren and told him and Ren ran to the bridge, calling Joe. Joes phone was always busy and then went out of service 2 minutes before Ren got to the bridge. Joe was gone. Sadly they never found his body. Ren recently did a song For Joe . Very sad. He also wrote a song Freckled Angel (joe had lots of freckles) and Su!cide

Pretty much all I watch are reactors and so I've seen them all. It's so refreshing to have people down to earth do it who doesn't appear to be faking their reactions for views so I would predict your channel doing very well. As you seem like nice guys, I'm going to give you a few very specific tracks/singles on KZbin that are well known to blow your channel up. I've not yet worked my way through all your videos yet (which I'm just about to do) so apologies if you guys have already done some of them. From a high artistic value perspective, anything else from Ren, especially this one but definitely glad you started with 'Hi Ren.' Now going up level but this time, from a high music & video production value with some extreme bars thrown in, anything from Falling In Reverse from 'Drugs' onwards is in a brand new incomparable tier of its own and in particular, the best one you should have started with is 'Watch The World Burn' as the video alone tipped it over the others for me. Also be sure to then do 'The Drug In Me Is You Reimagined' and then 'I'm Not a Vampire Revamped,' then any/all the other few from 'Drugs' onwards, such as 'Last Resort Reimagined,' etc. (Like Ren, the frontman Ronnie even loves reactors and so also reacts to them reacting to him, which can be fun from that inception angle. I think he'd really like you so maybe someone will suggest you to him at some point.) Now up a level again but this time from a high singing skills value, a super special one would be 'Creep - Vintage Postmodern Jukebox Radiohead Cover ft. Haley Reinhart.' This is my most watched video of all time and I have therefore seen it many hundreds of times over the nearly decade since it was released. Finally to the pinnacle of rap and from a highly evolved human perspective, a true one off for likely many hundreds of years, Harry Mack. If you compare the two best people in the world at any other discipline whether that's tennis or car racing or cooking and everything in between, the two best people are always very close in abilities. This is not true in freestyle rap. The greatest freestyle rapper to ever live, Harry Mack, is many many many magnitudes greater than anyone that has done it before or who is likely to do it again in the next century or few. It is a truly remarkable feat of human evolution and so linguistically advanced, it sends tingles down one's spine. I have run an in depth scoring algorithm since he exploded back on the scene following my discovery of him back from his Venice Beach fame, this time with series called Guerrilla Bars, which I luckily picked up on the first one with before he introduced Omegle Bars too. There are typically 3 or 4 different freestyles per video. You'd be best starting with Omegle Bars 52(first two,) 45(first two,) 42(first one,) 18(last one,) 76(first one,) 86(second one,) 96(second one,) 50(second one,) 93(second one,) ... and then any of the others, especially the more recent ones, and don't forget Guerrilla Bars 25(first & last one.) Finally, just some general tips for reactors that were the result of a poll amongst several sizable communities, hence, some may not apply to you: - Remember to not even have a tiny peak at any videos first before recording the reaction as it is impossible to hide that fact no matter how good a reactor thinks they are. - Ensure the video being reacted to occupies at least two thirds of the screen. - Push the mouse cursor to the far right of the screen in the middle (or left depending on if your output is mirrored) and permantly leave it there off-screen so the seek bar is never showing. - Use the 'K' key on the keyboard to pause/play and the 'J' key to skip back 10 seconds. - Before the video begins, press the 'C' key on the keyboard to deactivate the closed captions as no one wants to see words if it's already in their native language. - Even if a reactor believes they're good at acting, viewers can always tell when a fake reaction face is pulled so it's better just to pretend you are not making a video. - Unless a reactor happens to be an expert in a particular related field such as being an esteemed vocal coach, viewers generally are not interested in much commentary at all as are primarily viewing just to witness if any natural facial expressions, etc. occur. Uncontrollable verbal outbursts of admiration are also accepted. (Never forget, many will unsubscribe if the reactions are ever fake.) - Remember, some or all of those suggestions above may not directly apply to you but might be helpful to keep in the back of the mind. Enjoy the channel blowing up (assuming you don't have a peek at any of the above first.) All the best and greetings from England.

Heck yeah, love y'all's reactions; I jump in as soon as they appear in my feed! 😊 It's totally up to y'all, but you guys have hit a lot of heavy stuff from Ren, I personally would like to see you introduced to his lighter side, too. Something like The Big Push - "I Shot the Sheriff/ Road to Zion / Hip Hop" (look for the thumbnail of Ren kn RED SUSPENDERS), or one of his collabs with Sam Thompkins "Earned It / Man's World / Falling". Both show a very different side of Ren and give much more depth to his talent and character, in my opinion.

Several people have mentioned the "Stranger Things" bars (calling himself the demigorgon of rap) and a couple have mentioned that "I turn it up to 11" is both a reference to the girl in "Stranger Things" and the movie "Spinal Tap," but I thought I'd also throw in the context that, in "Spinal Tap," the guitarist of the band had a special amp created that turned up to 11 while most guitar amps only go to 10 as their max volume. So, in addition to the "Stranger Things" shoutout, Ren is also saying that he turns up higher than everyone else's max. Like much of the rest of this song, he's dropping a triple here. I also like that, of the two pieces of media he references in this line, one is a comedy and one is a horror, both of which he regularly brings into his music.

"Swan Ton Bomb" the Hardy brothers move.... In an interview Ren described the first time he ever met "Joe" he was a skinny little freckled kid and the first time Ren met him was in Joes living room when they were kids, and Joe climbed onto the back of a settee (couch? in the US) and leapt of the settee in a swan ton bomb to land flat on his back on a concrete floor... Joe lay there for a few moments then started laughing and climbed back on the settee to do it again... I believe that every swan ton bomb in a song by Ren is a homage to Joe.

Ren draws alot of inspiration from books and one of his favourite novels was animal farm by George orwell And if you have read that I have a feeling that is where He references the pig from If you look at his videos the pig is always present or represented by a sense of control Hi ren the pig literally pushes him in Sick boi the pig was imposed over the therepist And so on He has not explicitly said that but he has mentioned animal farm alot he also has a whole music video themed around animal farm

Anti-heroes are my favourite characters in films and graphic niveks/comics. The Punisher is definitely a good one but there's also Deadpool, Wolverine, The Guardians of the Galaxy, XXX, and probably my favourite - RIDDICK! There's a Tyson detail that you missed that ties in with the "Tyson, left rightin, bitin' like a python" bar. Tyson bit off part of Evander Holyfield's ear during their fight in 1997. If you want to know more about Ren's friend Joe (who Swanton bombed when they met) then listen to the songs "5u¡c¡de", "Freckled Angels" and of course "Joe's Song". I'll warn you now, they'll scrub your emotions raw and leave you in a few tears. They do me. I lost a friend when I was 18 (30 years ago in August) like Ren lost Joe. My friend decided to use rope instead of a bridge. They always hit me hard and it's one of the reasons why Ren resonates with me on a different level.

Yep, it's an old Greek name, but it was borrowed into D&D as the name of a demon that the players' hero characters could fight. The Stranger Things characters were playing D&D at the beginning, so that's why they used that name for the monster they encountered.
