Gabby, I love to see God working in you. Forgiveness is 3 steps Step 1 is legal. You declare either inside yourself or on a piece of paper that the wrong that has been done to you is cancelled and can never be used against the person that wronged you. God accepts your legal declaration. This means on judgement day in heaven, it will not come up as a wrong charged to the person you forgave. The debt is paid in full and cleared. Step 2 is spiritual. You realize everything you are and own belongs to God and it is not yours anymore. The wrong that was done to you and EVERYTHING about it is now in God’s hands. You let it go by faith and God takes care of it from that point forward. Step 3 is human. Inside you will be thoughts and feelings about the issue. These may be constant or just come now and then. As God does, with all things that are his, he will work it out for good. Frequently, at step 3 you begin to see the human things change where you now have peace, love, contentment, joy and all the fruits God grows in you replacing those things of turmoil, hate, upset, sadness, etc. It occurs because God creates it and not because you make it happen with effort. Your natural life becomes a supernatural life as you walk in the Holy Spirit.

She's right. I'm a recent believer and before I got on this path, I had so many "problems" and "things in my way" etc. that would prevent me from living the life I wanted. After getting on this path, forgiving, and letting God take control instead of my mind, simple, elegant solutions to my "problems" just came to me. Turns out there were no problems to begin with. The enemy was telling me that I couldn't move forward and would cause me to do things that would set me back without my being aware. I'm still a work in progress like we all are, but it's amazing how much clearer things are becoming. God bless you all.

Actually choosing to "let go" is such an important part of forgiveness too. I used to think I had forgiven people, but then I realized I was still holding onto resentment. I was "forgiving but not forgetting." When I chose to actually let go and not let their actions affect me anymore was when things really started to change in my heart! Thank the Lord for that! And thank you, Gabby, for your video. I wrote down: "Turn off your logic brain and be Holy Spirit led." Very well put!

And protection is based on avoidance. Observation, allows us to continue living. And to top it all off: Learning happens through all interactions as long as we acknowledge it. It feels hopeful seeing you have realizations as you're sending a valuable message. Oh wait there's more! Conform is the opposite of transformation.

The key to peace is to see the innocence in people regardless of what their bodies have done. We are not our bodies any more than we are our cars. We are still created in the likeness of God as spirit, not as prodigal sons who left God. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." We all are one with God and still have the mind of Christ. Remembering that will help you teach that to those you work with.

Just learned a very powerful lesson about forgiveness and righteousness from two pieces of scripture: the first from 1 Samuel 25 and the second from Matthew 18, starting at verse 21. These passages also teach and preach the gospel. It's amazing what God shows you when He opens your eyes to see the hidden riches in scripture. Then I opened KZbin and saw this video. I haven't watched it yet, but I am about to. I'm curious what you have to say about forgiveness. 😂 hope it alligns with Gods Word. 🙏🏽😇

Sounds like the holy spirit is filling your cup. We all need to forgive. The closer we get to God the more of him we inherit. There is a very powerful testimony from a guy that seen judgment and not forgiving people almost cost his life. God did not forgive him for some of his sins but he still had mercy on him. That unforgiving were seeds in the soul that you take with you. You can not heal without forgiving.

I know what you mean, I have had shifts in behavior that can only be explained because God loves me so much that it literally changed. I have done things I never thought I could do - Delete Social Media accounts, practice holistic healthy habits, detachment from football and people. Be healed of codependency, anxiety/fear, and fears of rejection and abandonment. Jesus has been teaching about forgiveness and what love really means, but where I’ve seen God most powerfully in my life is by teaching to totally depend on Him and not other people. This trial has hurt a lot but it has produced something in me that other wise would not have been. Seeing your testimony lets me know I am on the right track.
@MattNineFiveАй бұрын
This is such a timely and beautiful topic, especially during this season. Life can undoubtedly be challenging, and people may hurt us deeply, but holding onto grief or anger only weighs us down. Forgiving others, praying for them, and entrusting our hurts to God strengthens us in our walk with Him. I’ve been eagerly anticipating your next video, and this one feels perfectly aligned with the season. As a follower of Christ, I’ve faced my own struggles with hurt and betrayal, but over time, I’ve learned to forgive those who made me feel unloved. This journey taught me to channel my pain into prayer, asking that they come to understand God’s call to love and compassion instead of judgment. Feeling a calling to pursue an occupation that honors the Lord has allowed me to pray for others seeking Christ, which has been so fulfilling. Sharing how God’s love has transformed me is a joy, and I hope others can experience the same during this Advent season-a time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. It’s inspiring to see your love for people shine through your work. I share this passion for extending love to others, no matter their background. I know God has incredible plans for you as you continue focusing on His Word and love. As we do this, we can share His love with others, sparking a ripple effect that spreads His compassion far and wide. Ephesians 4:32 (NIV): "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Hello, I really enjoy your teachings. I struggle with repetitive sinful anger, unforgiveness and bitterness towards family members every time they try to dominate or dictate me or lie to people and I want to be like Joseph who showed great love for his brothers and compassion and forgiveness even though they done him wrong and do all evil against him. Those who have ties to them and get involved and hurt me by doing their bidding or opposing me strongly after hearing them lies and deceptive stories, it causes me to then feel bitterness and hatred murder towards more and more people and it is a never ending cycle and I don't want to feel that way. To be honest I don't look forward to the moment where I have to choose been the enemy and Jesus through the trials and tribulations of the great torture to test our faith and what if I don't even notice the presence of God, what if He chooses not to make Himself know to me. What do I do then and why am I fearing man and their actions if I am saved and have the Holy Spirit? I have not the peace of God that superpasses all understanding which I lost since 2020 which is a great form of guidance and motivation in our lives as christian's. Thanks very much for your attention. God bless!

Turning off the logical side of the brain is one of the complaints non-believers have about Christianity. They see it as dumb people following something that doesn't exist. Turning off the logical part is also a way to turn off discernment. At the same time, we have to trust God even if logic would dictate otherwise. Wisdom will help guide us in both directions.

Please continue to speak and demonstrate vulnerability. The world makes people so afraid to speak the truth. They are so desperate to be accepted and are locked up for fear of being canceled and destroyed because of their beliefs in the Bible and commitment to Jesus Christ. This is a Spiritual battle. Several Scriptures came to mind as you taught the truth. God is trustworthy, and His promises are pure as refined Gold. Sanctification, learning all that Jesus has to teach us and following His plan, is a process that requires more than a lifetime. Paul even said he had not achieved it. But Jesus will complete it as our eyes see His pure beauty and wonderfully loving eyes. 💖🌞👑✝️😃

Any wrong done to you is finite. Through Jesus Christ, God has given you the eternal life. And that eternal life is in you. It is not in some beyond, by and by. That eternal life is in you, in Christ! You have it. Now in the light of that eternal life with God, what is the sum total of all the wrongs that have been done to you?? The answer: finite. It is the right time to let all go and be united with Christ who said, 'Forgive them Father, for they do not know what they do'.

You can forgive. But it doesn't mean you have to keep that person in your life. A gaslighting narcissist won't change their ways.
@Zachariah_BenjaminАй бұрын
@@Billn1971 Anyone can find Christ and change. This is an attitude that opposes a forgiving spirit. You start off with the idea that you are better than someone else, that your sin is redeemable, but their's isn't. True forgiveness comes from a place of humility and the understanding that you are a sinner, unworthy of the forgiveness God gives you, yet he still forgives you, therefore you have no right to not forgive other people. If you sin, you're a sinner. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.If you can be redeemed, so can they. You can distance yourself from people, but that doesn't mean they can't change.
@Billn1971Ай бұрын
@Zachariah_Benjamin Lmao..You obviously didn't read anything. I NEVER said anything about being better. You obviously never dealt with so called "christians" that ARE narcissists. This family member hasn't changed in many years and will NEVER change. They are the ones that think they are above people. I have limited my contact with this person for my own health. They will not change. So until you know what really goes on. You have NO right to talk. Have a good day.
