As someone who has not posted in a long time (a few years perhaps), I just want to write this to bless and thank you for your thoughtful reflections. I literally play your videos on loop, meditating on His promises and goodness when I have a break from my study. My study on the prophets help me to look externally on God's glory and His promises in the land of the living, but your videos bring the nice counterbalance of looking inward to see the personal love and blessings that God has for me as an insecure and broken person. As I am growing through a season of waiting, your thoughts and words constantly remind me of the manna that God has already given me. If God is for us, who can be against us? The current circumstances may seem like His plans will not come to fruition, and the enemy exactly wants us to believe that. But the greater the valley, so the greater is His glory revealed when He delivers us. The coming One will come and He will not delay. Thank you for prioritising our roots that we can bear fruit in their due season. May God bless your week as He has already been. Thank you from the other side of the world.

Can I ask a question as a new Christian, Why do you believe in God? I ask a lot of people because I am seeking God, and I struggle believing he's real, but if he's real I want to be able to listen to him and understand the truth... Sorry for asking, I ask a lot of people out of curiosity
@917228543 ай бұрын
@@HOLYVEXZEL real in what sense that you are expecting? metaphysical sense? physical sense? is miracle being a must-have on your check list or completely irrelevant to you? each person is different and each have their own ways towards God, person A may simply enjoy the atmosphere in just being around people, like all things, you must know what you seek first before you can become aware of what you are seeking or have experienced, set the tone
@Yomanwhazzup3 ай бұрын
@@HOLYVEXZEL Hey! Thanks for reaching out! Haha believe it or not, after I wrote this comment, I faced an incident that made my valley worse (although to an extent it is based on my perception rather than the actual thing). But that kind of goes to answering your question why I believe in Him. I don't think I can do justice explaning everything, but believing in Him means seeking the truth of the entire situation, seeing things from His perspective, rather than moaning in my current circumstances. But most importantly, He saves me from myself. I no longer have to abide in my constant trail of thoughts, and instead have the privilege to bless in suffering. He is the source that I can overcome evil with good.
@creativejer3 ай бұрын
@@HOLYVEXZEL Part of why I believe in God is a pure gift of faith from Him. I was raised in a religious family who were members of a large denomination, though I wasn't shown true Biblical Christianity and Jesus' call to discipleship until I was a college student. So from early childhood my parents prayed to God with me at bedtime and meals. I grew up with an awareness of knowledge of God. Also, I can remember being about 5 years old and running through beautiful green grassy field in my city and just sensing and knowing that God was real and he made all of this; I believe this is something God gave to me. As I grew older, I was a very intellectual child and person, and I love the outdoors and nature. Looking at all the amazing complexity and beauty of what I could see on earth and in the universe, it was obvious to me that there must be a Creator who made all this. Biological life does not happen by chance or randomly, no matter how many billions of years are allowed to pass. Order doesn't spontaneously come out of disorder; no scientist has ever shown a specific mechanism demonstrating how a living cell with proteins, fats, cell membrane, and DNA, could form out of non-living molecules. It will never happen. The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics says (and observations show) that the universe becomes more dis-ordered with the passing of time. DNA is data and information. Information doesn't come out of nothing. There had to be a First Cause, a Creator who was never created but who has always existed and just is. A self-existing One. After I became a disciple of Jesus in college, I experienced many answered prayers, some very specific, and have been rescued from many near death experiences and protected from serious harm. I also saw the lives of other people radically change when they truly believed in Jesus and in the scriptures and truly committed their lives to trusting and surrendering to and obeying God and Jesus and the scriptures. I am amazed at the incredible wisdom present in the holy scriptures. The Bible is NOT a science textbook, but when it speaks on matters of the physical world it is correct and was way ahead of it's time. In the book of Leviticus, written around 1400 B.C., Hyssop is prescribed as a means of cleansing people and houses. No one knew it at the time, but Hyssop contains a chemical called Thymol, which wasn't discovered until the 1700s. Thymol is now known to be a powerful killer of various bacteria and fungi. The Jews in 1400 B.C. did not and could not have known this, but God gave this wise direction to His people, the Israelites, for their benefit and to bless them. I'm glad you asked. Godbless you and may you grow in your relationship with God and His Son Jesus and His Holy Spirit.

When you were talking about us asking God for more revelation but being disobedient with what He’s already given and revealed, it made me think about the parable of the talents where Jesus said to those who steward a little well, more will be given but those who don’t steward well, what little they have will be taken. We can’t blame God for not showing up if we’re not living in obedient submission.

So when I had bad anxiety and was coming off all my meds 4 years ago, God revealed to me that anxiety was me trying to control something. I started to view anxiety as an invitation from Him, to heal stuff in me. I have little anxiety today, so much more trust in God. It’s a process. Also learned to check my motives for seeking Him. Were they to “get better” or truly to “KNOW” Him because I love Him, not what He could do for me.

There’s such an overwhelming peace in hearing from God when we are intentional in our walk with him. I’ve learned over the past year plus how to discern the things he shows and tells me as oppose to my own feelings or the enemy spreading lies. There’s beauty in being able to go through life and still have joy when things aren’t only good. It’s why Joseph’s story in Genesis is so inspiring and admirable because he was intentional in his relationship with God and God gave him those visions. Through his journey even though he was wronged, he still didn’t give up on what God promised him. Great video! Also welcome back and happy to hear you moved. Hi Gabby - I made a comment yesterday on another of your Clips. But this one nearly made me cry. Because since my baptizm I feel a need in me to get more of Gods guidance. I saw others talking about the "the voice of God". Clips popped up like "Waking up in between 3 am and 5 am" - which is happening to me. I have a lot of very intense dreams but have no clue how to handle them / if they are God given / - last night I woke up at 1:27 feeling like I was somewhere out of my body and just returned. I felt unusually warm. For the rest of the night I had difficulties to sleep. I was asking my pastor about the 3am-5am kind of thing, to which he had no answer. I wa asking the Lord in prayer about that too, but still I'm more confused than having a clear picture. Over the last days I was praying for aformer team member at work. He was actually fired and told me about difficulties. So I did what I felt was needed to do and just today he wrote me, that he will start working again soon. Wow - that was my confirmation Hallelujah. And I was giving prayer tonight again about that to thank God for this. But I still don't know what binds me back from getting closer to the Father (not hearing his advise) - the only thing I hear when I'm calm is my freaking Tinitus that I have since 20 .... And all this makes me getting ... I don't know how... - I already stopped watching TV regularly. - I discontinued most of social media platforms, because they are so anoying and not helpful at all. - When I'm on youtube I'm mostly focused on religious content or on news related to the current hotspots (such as Ukraine, Israel a.s.o) or Weather related for the reason to watch and understand in relation to the Bible's prophetic parts. and you tell me into my eyes and ears that I could hear. But I actually don't and I cannot figure out why what in Jesus name am I not doing the right way?

@scottguitar81683 ай бұрын
I believe all of this comes down to our thought process. We cannot have a hundred thoughts at the same time, many times it is just a rapid series of one thought at a time. What we choose to think about is dependent on a lot of factors, one of them being interests. Most of us have too many things we want to think about, often based on interests, but also about things that concern us or things we want to plan. It is our thoughts that produce our feelings and it is often our feelings that get us into trouble. In particular, there are things that can make us feel good in the moment but we can realize we will regret in the long run and know it is not good for us to do. This applies to everyone, both believers and non-believers, people recognize unhealthy behaviors. With all of that in mind, if we get into a new hobby, we have a lot of thoughts about this new hobby. If we are into living healthier, we have many thoughts on this. If we lose interest in a hobby, thoughts about that hobby soon disappear. What I am getting at is the amount of interest Christians have in Christianity will dictate how many thoughts they have on the topic. There are some Christians who mostly think about it on Sunday. There are some Christians who think about it a little bit each day. There are some Christians that think about it a lot every day. The type of Christian they become is dependent on how many thoughts and what kind of thoughts they are having. While thoughts create our feelings, things such as music and visuals also add to how we feel about something. What I am leading to with all of this is that everything you said about hearing God is the same techniques New Agers use to describe hearing the universe. The reality is you may not be hearing anything external but rather manufacturing what you believe God or the Universe is trying to tell you, where when you make a mistake in interpretation, you chalk it up to a learning experience, but when the interpretations work, you chalk it up to message received, which is how it works for non-believers minus the assignment to an outside agent. It is possible that what you are describing is not hearing God but rather seeing things differently as you gain certain knowledge and experiences, where you have certain success and failures along the way. What does this do for sincere Christians who really would like to hear from God and you have a bunch of people who superstitiously believe they are hearing from God in their own minds but actually aren't? A child can be very excited to see what Santa brings them for Christmas, but at some point, they may see other kids getting more expensive gifts from Santa and wondering why? I see the same thing with supposed spiritual gifts, where Christians who are the have nots, wonder why they are not receiving the gifts of the Christians who have. The reality is it is always up to the individual and the choices they make.
@ItsGabbySings3 ай бұрын
We need to be rooted in scripture and use our discernment when hearing from God. He is our Father, so it’s a mistake to think we don’t hear from him. He’s always speaking. But the more refined we get throughout our journey, we learn what his voice sounds like! It will never contradict scripture or lead you to sin!
@scottguitar81683 ай бұрын
@@ItsGabbySings I understand the importance of adhering to scripture even if you are a Christian who doesn't hear from God. It is the appearance that Christians give when claiming to hear from God that makes me believe it is their interpretation of hearing from God and not actually hearing from God. Many times, it doesn't seem that Christians are actually hear words, but rather interpreting signs as God speaking to them. Others seem to be confusing their own internal voice as God's voice when an unexpected thought enters their mind, which happens to believers and non-believers, but some believers credit it to God. It at least makes me wonder what Christians actually mean when they claim God is speaking to them. Many times Christians simply mean reading the bible, where a non-believer might say certain literature or poetry speaks to them, they don't mean literally in terms of actual speaking but rather they are moved by what they read.

I have prayed for you! I would advise not to put so much pressure on yourself. Building a relationship with the Lord is what matters. It takes time. It will take time. But the word of God will become alive to you the more you read it. It’ll start to make sense. It transforms you from the inside out! Sometimes it’s just about discipline. Reading even when you don’t feel like it, and doing that daily until you realize how much you’ve transformed. Never underestimate the power of God! Also pray for yourself and ask others to pray for you. When you’re weak, God is strong. Are you plugged in at a church? It’s a great thing to have fellow believers encouraging you and praying for you! Hope this helps 🙏

As humans we allow the flesh to complicate life. The actual life in Christ is easy. Matthew 11:29-30 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

What is your opinion about dreams? Is it possible that God communicates to a believer through dreams?
@ItsGabbySings2 ай бұрын
Yes he 100% speaks through dreams/visions! Read acts 2:17

@@ItsGabbySings Now I understand. I have researched about the verse. I have always ask my friends. Dreams that I have, they don't have such dreams. I see things, visions, sometimes warning signs, people's true colors, I see myself praying with other old people I have never seen, people dressed like in the past....I don't know why...

Do you believe in once saved always saved?

You can turn away from God at any point in your walk. You have free will!

@ItsGabbySings You are correct just had to ask to see if you followed man made doctrine But glad that you understood that from reading the Bible n nothing else that we have free will to choose

I'd say start with the Gospels: John, Luke, Matthew, Mark. Or anything from the Bible

Where in the Bible does it talk about the spiritual courts? In the book of Job, did those things happen because Job broke spiritual laws? Or was there something else at play? I feel these concepts over complicate our walk. The Bible says we will have trials and tribulations. It doesn’t say that our trials are contingent upon whether or not we are sinning or not. We should take our sins seriously. However, the idea that every time you sin you have opened up a legal portal in the heavens that Satan will use to ask God to punish you…they are not on the same team. Sin causes people to harden their hearts and turn from God when it’s repetitive. Thats why they can’t hear from God on certain issues.

Correct! It’s about heart posture. We are saved and forgiven but I’m just speaking on the unrepentant heart. So many people struggle and don’t realize their actions have consequences so God warns us about sin. But James 5:16 has a covering for when we confess our sins and pray so that we’re healed! Living in unrepentant sin is what I’m talking about!
