God’s Promises are so so much more than the sum of there parts. They develop within us, His Devine nature. Apostle Peter said this “whereby are given unto us Exceeding Great and Precious Promises that “By these” we become partakes of His Devine Nature” it isn’t the fulfilment of the Promise that increases our Faith, our Trust and our time with him, but it is the long delays and the patient enduring and at times Painful waiting that is what really refines our character and imparts His Devine nature. God allows the promise to be totally destroyed and damaged beyond recognition and so final and impassible that we might aswell try and aim for Pluto with more possibility and chance than waiting for what he promised. This is the crucible of our faith to still believe and stand by it even in the face of utter impossibility. Because it is he and he alone but he needs us to stand by it and Not give up and not to move to the left or to the right. The enemy is very determined to course us to move from our belief in what God has said. Because Satan above all beings knows the power of a person who believes God at His word. Satan often is permitted by God to destroy all outward and circumstantial evidence of Gods promise. The allows him to steal what belongs to us in order to increase and enlarge our faith in Him. Satan knows this very well that he has in fact won absolutely zilch even when destroying the object of God’s promise. He knows it is not enough. Why? Because he hasn’t won a dicky bird until he can course us to stop believing and crush our faith in God. The circumstances are not that hard for God to adjust or transfigure. The battle is within our hearts and minds and Satan knows this. So when what God promised seems to be as far from us as Pluto remember to keep believing and stand upon what God said and only what God said. Because faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

My lord and savior is so so awesome and this song rectifies it. He's not a god of promise but a god of doing! He's with us with every step and with every breath. My father loves me and I feel him every day working in me and my life. I love my lord and savior and would lay down my life for him as he paid my sin debt. Pastor Furtick has spoken about his music career growing up as a lead singer in a cover band and shared video of him being the only White member of a gospel group (too include solos) in his hometown of Moncks Corner SC. As he detailed this time in his life he mentioned how his mother asked him, “When are we going to hear your voice, not just covers of Vader and Rucker?”.... Again as Pastor Furtick has shared his path with us I’m assuming this is around the time he was Called by God to preach. So a shift in course took place but in the same direction!! LOL!!!...C’mon preached that hard and lead a band??...his voice would be shredded!! As a songwriter(team) with ELEVATION WORSHIP we are getting to hear his ‘true voice’!!
