Bruh…the GoW series has been one of my favorite game franchises of all time since the first one came out in ‘05. When I tell you I was physically shaking the ENTIRE build-up journey from Freya’s hut to the house, I was SHAKING. I was in such disbelief that the mad lads actually added the Blades of Chaos after all. I literally whooped out loud when Kratos pulled them out and they were wrapped in his old toga. Like, these damn things helped wipe out TWO PANTHEONS (if you include the Titans) and NUMEROUS Greek legends. My husband laughed a bit because the nostalgia alone almost made me cry the first time around. The lack of overall excitement here was just DISRESPECTFUL. 😂

During the Motion capture, Christoper Judge actually cried at this scene. I imagine Kratos too. That weapon made him a monster. If he had his way, he doesn't want to touch it again, but now his son's life depended on it. And yet he has to go back to be that monster again. The sorrow of it...
