Kratos was much more reasonable in GoW1 and Chains of Olympus than he was in the other Greek games. We know he got Hope from Pandora's chest, but I'm fairly certain something like hatred or wrath got into him too. He wasn't as chill as Norse Kratos, but he wasn't the unhinged single minded destroyer that he was in 2, 3, and Ghost of Sparta.

According to Freya, the Giant who built Asgard wall hates Aesir god because they kill his father, so he made a flaw in the wall which only known by Sultr, so if Sultr came to Asgard he will use the flaw to destroy it and become Ragnarok.

Thats how Sleipnir came to be and that horse would belong to Odin... in the myth. Also luckily Hrimthur told the Flaw unclearly to Freya because thank God that Sindri and Atreus can exploit it without Surtr or otherwise the Midgardians and Skjoldr would have died in the way. Maybe because Hrimthud and Thamur did not believe Freya thoroughly.

More like 2 or Ghost of Sparta. The sisters of fate and Thanatos were the most powerful things Kratos ever fought, they were *beyond* the gods. And going by feats, the Greek pantheon was far more powerful than the Norse one (which makes sense, the same is true in actual mythology), but they were still nothing compared to the sisters and Thanatos.

Only small problem I have is that the destruction of Asgard seemed pointless. Would of make more sense story wise if RAGNORAK was a vengeful spirit, and after defeating Odin, RAGNORAK became the final enemy. After all, they changed from seeking "vengeance" to "justice." It was wrong for RAGNORAK to displace hundreds, if not thousands, or tens of thousands of innocent Aguardians. Also, HOW COOL WOULD IT OF BEEN if Kratos, seen as a protector and a good god by basically everyone, unlocked some of his former Greek God powers, or Freya / Angrboda used size manipulation magic to make Kratos on equal size standing with RAGNORAK and then in a callback to GOW1, they duked it out like true all-powerful beings?? I can't be the only one who sees this!

i think Surtrs depiction here is a lot more depressing. Like it's debatable on whether he caused more harm than good (tho i guess he did keep all of the Asgardian armies busy so Kratos and the squad probably wouldn't have gotten into Asgard as easily). Still, him as Ragnarok is what got Freyr killed when all he really wanted to do was just chill with his wife for an eternity. It might have been necessary but I'm caught up in thinking of the what ifs. I wish the game got more time to flesh out his part in the endgame but the whole ragnarok section did end up being a bit more rushed tbh.

Just imagine if they actually let go of Surtr as he wished and looked for a way to travel and retrieve his powers back from ancient Greece so Kratos could transform into a giant (Fire Giant) like in the original trilogy and he himself would play the part of Ragnarok instead of Surtr. All that happening while Heimdall fights with a Loki/Atreus empowered by the mask (Trouble for GOW VI?) and Thor fights younger Jormungandr alongside Ragnarok Kratos. Meanwhile Fenrir/Garm (and possibly Sindri) chased a scared Odin teleporting across all Nine Realms, as only Fenrir (And Sindri) could have chased him since it takes someone with teleport to go after someone with teleport like Odin. All these battles culminating in a final boss fight against a wear out, but still very powerful Odin. Just imagine.
