This cpu is a beast. 6:51 it drops to the 50's for me with a rtx 4090 and i9-12900k, here its a locked 60fps

It's definitely faster than mine 12900K with AVX512 (5.25GHz using x51 with 103MHz bus) and 2080ti (same settings). No problem at 6:51 on my rig, but frame dips at 5:03 and 6:07 on mine as low as 45. And fight with bugs at 6:27 frame drop as low as 55 ... it's definitely improvement over 12900K avx512, but not enough for me to upgrade - don't think 9800x3d improvements will be able to run Uncharted 2 at 4k 60fps ... still seems at the moment - best cpu for rpcs3

What makes Ascension so popular and important to emulate is that it was abandoned. GoW3 was remastered while Ascension, like MGS4, is entirely exclusive to the PS3

Hey a question, why did you not turn in 'Asynchronous Texture Streaming' and 'Multithreaded RSX'? Since the 9800x3d has 8 cores and 16 threads so it could benefit from turning those 2 on right?

Remember the performance came from AVX-512, who it’s stuck AVX2 high end CPU performance similar to PS3.

Sensational performance, have you tried emulating PS4 with ShadPS4, I've seen tests that the R7 9700X is running well, Bloodborn would be great to see on the 9800X3D.

For example I played AC 1 on the PS3 with a Dualsense and I WANTED to my ps3 controller but...its a mess where I PROBABLY left it so I was stuck with the dualsense , which is more ergonomic for my big ass hands but still ds3 hits different with the ps3 . I dont know if u feel

Not with an AIO cooler and safe voltages. But with a delid and custom cooling, maybe.
