I'm emulating this game via PPSSPP in 1440p, and holy crap. While some of the models look rough (mostly textures like rocks and whatnot) from upscaling, the game as a whole looks fantastic. The level of detail and scale is absolutely ridiculous. How Ready at Dawn managed to put this on the PSP is beyond me.

This is a Kratos who's physical stats are already near-olympian due to the Blades of Chaos, according to Athena in the GoW 1 Novel. Then also empowered by the Primordial Fire from Helios, which also derives from Chaos itself. This fire alone can easily handle the dark primordials like Morpheus, Nyx so how Charon still was able to hold his own is very impressive, guess serving Hades has its perks.

You are meant to lose in your first fight with Charon. That's how it's scripted. In the second fight, you are able to beat him now - thanks to the Gauntlet of Zeus being the only thing that can knock the pillars down.
