I remember beating this on the PS2. And since there was no trophies, I have no proof. The old days when you did things simply to challenge yourself and not for a trophy. @@AdamMcDermott Oh it's tough alright! I meant it felt "cheap" like how Brutal on Uncharted just feels... not even fun? It didn't seem fairly balanced. Skill seemed to take a backseat to luck. Crushing is the sweet spot for the Uncharted series to me and I felt God Mode on GoW1 felt like an incredible challenge where skill comes into play and the AI isn't constantly getting in cheap shots.

In this case, I can't do it. Based on guides, the online takes 50+ hours even if things don't go awry. Considering the state of the servers at the moment, it would be an ungodly amount of hours to commit to something which might not even work in the end. I won't be doing an episode on it but Far Cry 2 is a fantastic game. I really enjoy reading about people's permadeath runs.
