@@CelestialFerrator so many dude. If you like something with a similar grim vibe as "Blood Upon the Snow", try out "NFWMB", "As it Was", "De Selby (Part 1)" and maybe also "Through Me (The Flood)". Most of his songs have a different vibe than Blood Upon the Snow - they still tend to be foresty and atmospheric, but they have a sweetness and vulnerability to them that counters this sort of viking mood. Hozier is a master of writting incredibly impacful lyrics and is known for his genius and unique finger-picking guitar melodies. My favorite songs of his are Work Song, Would that I, Unknown/nth, From Eden, Shrike, De Selby parts 1 and 2, NFWMB, In A Week, Cherry Wine, and Wasteland, Baby!.

This song is not only about the journey of father and son but about kratos the man and the warrior. A man who loved calliope and lysandra, Sparta, and Deimos but chose the path of violence and hatred for his enemies and to obtain some sort of glory from the Gods that would satisfy the void in his heart he was missing, only to beg for Ares help when it was all too much for him to handle. In doing so it cost him absolutely everything. Lysandra and calliope his true north that he snuffed out in blind rage. And his vengeance destroyed his home the Greek land. I feel like constantly he is thinking of lysandra, calliope, and Deimos and that everything he is doing for Atreus and Faye is to honor them as well. Wants to be a man that they would be proud of seeing. A true warrior. (Cherish your loved ones more then anything because you don’t know what tomorrow brings. That is tragedy that created the Ghost of Sparta.)
