People can never be happy. They complain if the guys don't explore, but they also complain when they explore too 💀 I for one love all the exploration and side quests, especially on Vanaheim 👀

So many people want to see someone's first time reaction to something they love, but a lot of these people tend to forget that they didn't pick up on all the little details their first time through or do everything correctly either. Those of us who have played the games have the knowledge, but you can't expect someone playing it for the first time to just be an instant expert 😂

The exploration has been good because most of where they are can be fully explored without the item they are missing. However I would like to see them continue the story until they get said missing item so they can fully explore the rest of the hidden areas. Otherwise we won't get to see it, they won't go back and explore areas they have already mostly explored.

​@@AFC9798I like that they've been alternating main storyline with side content, and it also helps buff them for upcoming bosses. I get what you're saying, though, and I think there's not a toooon of new explorable areas (except maybe Midgard) until they get it, which might be good.

Love the side quests, and they provide great inside information to the story. You cant please everyone but this stuff is informational and fun to watch

Regarding the sigil puzzles: You can place at most three sigils at a time, _but_ you can grow each of them by shooting in the same spot multiple times. But, perhaps more importantly, the sigil/sphere show you if they are chained with another sigil/sphere (they become "highlighted"). These puzzles are much easier (well, may require less trial and error) if you keep these things in mind.

13:29 Heads up with connecting Freya's sigils to get them pesky flame pyres; you can only have 3 sigils active at a time. However, you can make all 3 sigils bigger by shooting at each one two more times, to make the connection reach over longer distances.

Don't listen to the comments saying to hurry up and progress the main story, unless that's what you want to do! Do as much or as little exploring as you like :) That being said, the Freya sidequest you completed this episode was the important one here in Vanaheim as you get her second sword! So, if you wanted you can head home to Sindri's to check in on the boy 👦 Looking forward to the next episode!

1:45:50 the plant isn't shooting him, that's the shield charging up. Which, btw, you guys would benefit from taking better advantage of. If you read about that shield in the weapons menu, it charges the longer you hold L1 to block without it being hit, and the more charged it is the more powerful the shield punch attack is. If the plant had been shooting you and hitting the shield it would have been five quick bursts on the shield not two slower ones and the look of shield when being hit is a bit different as well.

Regarding the confusion in the beginning: Some (lesser) enemies respawn, presumably to make sure the maps are completely empty when you revisit them. To know if your progress got saved, you can look at environment puzzles (if there are any nearby), because those won't reset once completed.

For Mister Quinn: There is the most effective basic attack with blades: smash triangle multiple times until you see your blades glowing, then attack by R2. It will make significant damage and also burn enemies, so with sigil arrows work even better For Oak and Answer: Same with axe, but you need to hold triangle. Also if you throw your axe and call it back with holding triangle instead of tapping it, you will charge axe faster (but you need a skill for that, may be already have it)

when youre punching in rage notice how much you consume with each punch AND HOW MUCH DAMAGE IT DOES, if you use R2orL2 at the VERY end when theres no more rage it can take advantage of the rage consumption/damage given. please like this so they can see this message.

Lol, love ya Oak but you guys can only blame yourselves with the plants that drove you nuts this playthrough. You already got taught by Freya in a previous video how to deal with those plants that shoot you a bunch of times. It has always been to find their root bulb and burn it.

1:38:00 Off combat you can shoot infinite arrows. You don't need to wait. Also the bigger the sigil circle/bubble the fastest it fades away.

I like how Oak spent the whole time fighting the plant and Quinn destroys it in a minute haha. In all seriousness though, you guys need to use the O more when you use your runics. Can get health back, get rage, do more damage based on what you have selected but barely ever use it.

13:47 Oak when you're chaining the sigil arrows together you have to keep in mind that you only get 3 to chain together. Each one will show a round bubble that indicates its blast radius. That round bubble has to be touching the bubble of the other arrows in order to get it to chain together. When you shoot the arrows you shoot them too far apart. You're not checking to see if they touch. So either shoot the arrows closer to each other or make them bigger. You can make the bubble bigger by shooting the same spot up to 3 times. Also keep in mind you have to start the chain reaction somewhere where the blades can reach. 34:57 You CAN'T destroy that part of the plant. So throwing your axe at it or trying to burn it 100 more times won't do anything different. The ONLY way to destroy that plant is to follow its roots down to the large bulbous thing that controls it. Then burn it.

13:34 Oak the sigil arrow chains are not unlimited. If you shoot more than your limit (3) it will delete the first one you shot. Also you can tell if they are connected, the connected centres will spin faster.

There is a cool glitch with the shatter star shield if you have a lighter enemy like a reaver against a wall and you double tap L1 with that shield fully charged sometimes they will disappear in the wall resulting in an instant death.

You don't have to do the sidequests in any particular order. So just because the orb quest was the one being tracked doesn't mean you had to veer off of Freya's Peace sidequest.
