Pro tip: Valhalla can teah you A LOT about how armor sets work in story mode. All the perks are just armor and amulet perks from the game. However, there are some you can't get from Valhalla, like Elemental Hunter.

I still don't understand why tthey haven't released a "Deluxe upgrade" for anyone who didn't buy it. I technicallly didn't even have the choice as the PS5 I bought came with a code for Ragnarok's base game, so I'd have to spend another 80$ for a game I already bought. doesn't seem like offering the bonus armors & soundtrack as separate DLCs should be any trouble, yet so many games are so insistent on these "digital deluxe versions" that require you to pay the full price rather than give you the flexibility to buy them later if you want to.

The DLC armor is good to have, but if you got a hard copy, don't sweat it. The main advantage of it is the perks, but in terms of stats the Nidavillar armor you get early on has it beat and is arguably the best set you get early on.

tbh these sets are not that great anyway, he is making them seem better than they are. I mean sure you get loads of rage but it is more complicated to gain it with everything you have to do and anyone who is skilful at the game would not want to use rage and/or stomp enemies fast as it ruins the fun of the combat. So these sets are for noob player who want to run through the game and they will be playing on lower difficulties anyway.

not yet, sadly. Ideally maybe they'll do an Add-on/dlc for it if/when they patch in a NG+ mode but who knows if either of those will happen. It's a bit frustrating considering I never even had the choice since my PS5 came with the game, so I'd have wasted like 60$ if I bought the DigDeluxe version separately

I just rescued Tyr from the mines and I already feel overpowered with this pre order Dauntless armor. I don't feel like I didn't earn it though necessarily because I have been playing well despite getting my ass kicked early by grims experimenting with different combos and adjusting to the slightly different controls from 2018. I was able to farm enough forged steel from looting everything in sight as well as selling off the armor shown in the video from doing the smoke stack sidequest to upgrade every piece to level 3. I am playing on "Give me God of War" difficulty. Overall I'm having more fun then in 2018 as I felt more vulnerable in that game all the way up until I got Tyr's armor set which was around mid game. I'm guessing I'm still early game in Ragnarok.

@@zombie665 Awesome man. I'm having a lot of fun. Got a ps5 just in time for the release. Replayed 2018 on my pc and thought how much better can Ragnarok be? Thr haptic feeback and 3d audio are a good showpiece for how next gen games can add immersion outside of just making things more realistic. It's not a huge departure, but the quality of life changes they have made, make the game more fun and rid it of the more tedious shit that would occasionally plague 2018.

Yep, 9 levels just like all the in-game armor. Crazy enough, the base shield is too, though it's more of a long-term investment. It doesn't really get good stats until level 7 or 8, then it increases everything.

I'm not too particular about the Risen Snow Armor, but Darkdale is pretty clutch if you prefer a Chaos Blade build. What I like is you can fully upgrade DLC armor unlike the last game, which only lasted the first few hours before needing something better.

Listen to this absolutely trash game glitch I got. So I'm 45 hours in right. I've done so much shit in this game 47-48 ravens all side stuff pretty much done. 11-12 bezerkers. All Muselpheim stuff and armour done like I've damn near platinumed this game and I get stuck in vanaheim in abandoned village cause a realm door won't spawn? I don't get to finish the game or anything else cause I'm stuck here. I really hope they patch this cause I won't be able to finish the game until then, no way I'm restarting so I'll just chalk it up as a decent game 3/10. Would be a 10/10 but literally unplayable unless I restarted from scratch

Yes there is an amulet that allows you to get stats and set bonus’s

You slot a total of 9 enchantments into the amulet but you need to repair broken slots in the amulet to be able to put enchantments in as you go through the game. According to the goals shown in the game, there's a lot of enchantments. I've only seen 15 so far but they've been helpful as far as increasing my stats quite a bit. It takes 3 from the same set to get the set bonus. For some enchantments you have to do a dodge roll or they buff a certain type of attack but a lot are just stats or increased resistance and totally passive things like that.

I for sure would not pay $76 for a game that gave me a good armor, 2 or 3 moves and the rage meter even though I do have a hard time remembering all of the moves. You can do training in Niflheim which can help make the different attacks more automatic btw. Things like the relics, enchantments and perks help you actually mold the character to your playstyle meaning you can play the game more than once and change up the mold to have it not play completely the same. You're welcome to your opinion but I would never pay for as little as you want in a game.
