Also when they go up in the air to throw the rocks you can throw a spear at the rocks and it cancels that attack

Is it just me or does the give me god of war difficulty feel easier than in the first game the hardest is all about execution and that you are able to read the tells the bosses give you once you learn the patterns the it comes down to execution. I played through the game on no mercy first playrhrough wich was good because that was good practice and I beat the game again on gmgowar difficulty. There where some areas I had to cheese 🧀 like in helheim where atreus has to fight to annoying wiches alone that was probably one of the hardest fights on my playthrough because they keep leveleling up and spam attacks.
