On the one hand, I think this would be really cool. But I also don't see how it would be possible from a gameplay perspective. This isn't like the flooding in Midgard. Greece was completely submerged. The only parts of the area still above water were Mount Olympus and the higher parts of the town halfway up the mountain. Maybe there's enough there for a region, but certainly not a whole game

Well many kratos would return there but only for a small portion of the game who knows

There are other water deities in Greece and in Valhalla it's stated Greece rebuilt

I feel like Kratos will die if there will be a sequel, and atreus will somehow shift ethics. As heimdall said: "when i look in your eyes all i see is flames" while talking to atreus

In the Valhalla DLC, Tyr hinted that Greece was being rebuilt. And considering that hope has been released to the world, it makes no sense that Greece is still destroyed.
