I think the most powerful part of this masterpiece is the very beginning; from 0:00 to 1:05, started within hopeful lullaby and dreams of love and peace - embodied by the womanly voice, then suddenly plunged into a vortex of hatred and grieving justice - which is signified by the latin chants...

This piece fits so amazingly well for the prologue of Inferno. This might be a SPOILER for those who haven't read. However this fits so good as he runs away from his chasers and the piece here would reach it's crescendo as he makes that leap. Well at least for me I feel the intro portion of this till the crescendo fits so well for that scene.

This is a beautiful piece. For me it illustrates how both science and religion (by themselves) can be both beautiful and dangerous, and both can go too far.
@hassi449 жыл бұрын
TXRider To quote from V for Vendetta: Evey: "Is that the Koran? I didn't know you were religious." Deitrich: "I'm not. I don't have to be religious in order to find it's stories beautiful or it's poetry moving." To me, all religion can ever be is poetry, good and bad. I'd rather search for answers through science. But science is a tool and tools can't go too far. They are subjective to their users, but the users however can use the tools to go too far. It all depends on the person, not the tool in her hand.
@gandaruvu8 жыл бұрын
+Sakuragi Rokurouta but in that sense, religion is also a tool. yes, some atrocities in the world were done in the name of religion, but many charities and other good things were done in the name of religion as well. if you want to acknowledge the bad thing, then you also have to accept the good thing. science is to a certain degree is also an ideology. science is not the truth, but science is the most probable explanation of our surrounding depending on facts we have collected based on our observations and explanations. remember, eugenics during late 19th century and early 20th century was supported by scientific research done during that period.
@gandaruvu8 жыл бұрын
Sakuragi Rokurouta why did you have to stress on "capital S"? Are you implying that there are other form of science that's not in accordance with your belief? Are you trying to use a no true Scotsman? Remember that in eugenics, it was not government policies or personal biased that influenced science of eugenics, but the other way around.

One of the main lessons in the bible is "love the sinner, hate the sin." Even though you might do, or believe in something i find evil, I will treat you and respect you the same as anyone other person. We are all sinners, so no one has the right to judge another person based on their beliefs or actions. I respect you, and your beliefs. You are in my prayer's my friend, may God bless you and your life.

Music, like life is timeless and cannot be stopped and analysed, reversed or slowed, but must be listened through to the end... when finally when you have heard it all, now understand it all without words or text, but merely the essence.

I remember reading "Angels & Demons when it first came out. My father, who is a 32nd Degree Mason, was curious about what I was so engrossed reading. I showed him the book and inquired about just what the Illuminati was/is. His eyebrows shot up in his hairline and he asked how I knew about them. I explained the plot of Angels & Demons to him and told him, "When I finish reading this, you should read it as well." He did and was amazed at the detail of Dan Brown's writing. To this day, Angels & Demons remains one of his and my favorite books and resides in his collection.

@alvarete66xd Correction: he uses samples to decorate recordings with a real orchestra, so that's in my opinion even more special. Second to that he manages to create a masterpiece with almost every project he's working on, name me one movie or game he made the music of that isn't great? And last, I can assure you it's bloody difficult to create an convincing sounding orchestration with samples alone

The part starting at 3:00 and ending at 4:05 makes me think of the LHC at CERN. I can almost in my minds eye see the protons and anti-protons whizzing around the massive accelerator finally colliding in an awesome display of power resulting in a single Higgs-Boson whizzing off to be detected at the either CMS or ATLAS detectors. The awesome crescendo of particle physics resulting in a blast mimicking the conditions 1 * 10^-43 seconds after the big bang.

It was called the 'God' particle by the editor's of Leon Lederman's book that he wanted to title: "The Goddamned Particle", due the difficulty and expense of finding the Higgs-Boson. The editors changed it to the "God particle" for fear of offending Christians. Peter Higgs himself doesn't like the term 'God Particle' either, even though he's an atheist. I agree with your last statement about religions being wrong about creation.
