Altar of incense was strongly connected with Holy of Holies. Since the only person who could go into the Holy of Holies was the High Priest who could only enter it ONCE PER YEAR. The altar of incense was placed just outside of Holy of Holies so that priests could attend to it daily as many times as necessary.

How funny they often challenge people to give the verse where it's said that God has change the day of rest from Saturday to Sunday, but they never spoke about this text as it is written, not as they want to interpret it. In a nut shell I don't believe you guys can properly identify the root problem with the Hebrew roots movement so long as you believe that major eschatological prophecies regarding National Israel remain unfulfilled. The Hebrew roots movement, I believe, is either a harbinger of what the church has become as a result of its stubborn obsession with prophecy and eschatology, or a thorn in our flesh to remind us of this problem. Hi Rob... thank you for another amazing Exegesis. IMO, your work in Hebrews is ground breaking. I have searched thru the book of Macabees several times and I cant find anything about oil for eight days. The first time this legend appears is hundreds of years later. The Chanukah lighting tradition is a recent rabbinic invention to give Jewish children a custom equal to Christmas during the fall holiday season. The irony is that HR rejects celebrating an actual historical event that remembers the birth of our Messiah and replaces it with an invented, imbellished tradition based on zero evidence. My opinion... SHABBAT SHALOM!

Concerning your reference to bread quoting John’s Gospel, I believe John’s gospel is the most misunderstood gospel of them all and the major cause of false teachings in the church today. Clement of Alexandria said that as others have written an account of Jesus life, Johns friends asked him to write one, too, so John decided to write a spiritual gospel. It’s not exactly clear what John meant by “spiritual gospel”, this, however, it seems, might have meant that his focus will be on the Word of God, the Logos. This according to him was with God and God was the Word. Today we have a saying that a man is his word. However we would never mistake his word with the man. Nevertheless, the Word (Logos, Torah, Gods mind or council) became flesh in Jesus. Yet Christians often treat it the other way round, as if Jesus became flesh in the Word. Jesus did not pre-exist, the Word did. Jesus is not the first creation, the Word is. And when Jesus spoke it’s not his words, but the Fathers. When Jesus says “before Abraham was, I Am” he’s not referring to himself, the man, but the Logos, the Word of God. When he says “I am the bread of life” he’s not referring to his body but the Logos, the Word of God. As Matthew and Luke quote Jesus, man lives not by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Therefore when Jesus says to eat his body and drink his blood, he’s not referring to cannibalism but the Word of God, the flesh achieves nothing, but the Word of God is spiritual food.

What do you mean "the Word became flesh in Jesus"? I say the Word was in flesh or became flesh and was called Jesus, who we are is not the flesh but the spirit that's in the flesh which will appear before the judgement seat - 2 Corinthians 5:10.
@rightouslivingАй бұрын
@ so you believe that the Word was transformed into flesh, that it is identical with Jesus, that Jesus was not a human but only appeared as a human!? interesting theory but it is seriously flawed. Jesus the man had his own will. He chose to submit his will to God’s. If Jesus merely was the transsubstantiated Word then his agency was always divine, therefore he could not be tempted and his encounter with the tempter was just for show. Satan is an agent of God who now is attempting to tempt the divine. You realise how silly that would be. And if at the garden of Gethsemane Jesus prayed “Not my will but yours”, God was now divided in one part who did want and another who didn’t. So one part of the divine submitted under another part of the divine. What happens now with “being co-equal”?
@Wisdoms_InheritanceАй бұрын

To then walk as Jesus did means to do what he did, pray for the sick, deliver from demons, cast down strongholds over people so they can receive Gods salvation, etc Thats not what people like yourself do, you only like to challenge the things I've said here, and spend time discussing rules and regulations, how well you keep the law, which ones you keep etc. You have made Torah the object of your focus, and hence an idol, any sort of spiritual discernment would make it obvious, but you can't see for the 'letter of the law;' what did Paul say about the veil over the minds of Israel when Moses was read- after Jesus had 'finished' his work of providing a way for Gods righteousness to be received through his blood. This guy here is lying to you again. There is no such thing as an " old covenant".The non jews have their covenant made by G-D through Noah! You dont need a second covenant! G-D doesn't make mistakes! This pagan is so obsessed with Paul and the book of hebrew rather than listen to G-D'S opinion. So what is G-D'S opinion? Here we go: God's covenant with Israel is eternal. “I will not break my covenant with you (Israel) for ever” (Judges 2:1) “Israel, my servant, I will not reject you!” (Isaiah 41:9) Just as the statutes of heaven and earth will not pass away, neither will I cast out all the offspring of Israel because of all that they have committed" (Jeremiah 31:35-37)" Israel has the eternally valid guarantee from G-d, but not the nations, so each individual must, like Balaam, bring themselves to bless Israel in order to be reflexively blessed themselves. Jewish priests are from the tribe of Levi, through the line of Aaron. This is an eternal priesthood per the bible . " an eternal [hereditary] priesthood for all generations." BSh'mot / Exodus 40:15. And you shall anoint them, as you have anointed their father, so that they may serve Me [as kohanim]. And this shall be so that their anointment shall remain for them an everlasting kehunah throughout their generations." Numbers 25 13It shall be for him and for his descendants after him [as] an eternal covenant of kehunah, because he was zealous for his G-d and atoned for the children of Israel." Exodus 29 9And you shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and you shall dress them with high hats, and the kehunah will be a perpetual statute for them, and you shall invest Aaron and his sons with full authority. 2. The priest in B'reshit / Genesis 14:18 was NOT a Jewish priest. He was the King of Salem and his priesthood pre-dated Abraham's covenant with G-d. For some reason this guy here often ignore chronological order! How could a non-Jewish priesthood have anything to do with a Jew? It couldn't -- the Jewish priesthood with the tribe of Levi through Aaron's heirs is eternal -- so the claim falls apart from the start. Can you answer that question? Secondly, the messiah must be of the tribe of Judah (not Levi). No Jewish priest can also be the rightful messiah.You can't belong to two tribes and the messiah must be from the tribe of Judah through David and Solomon. If you believe in the Torah, by default you do not believe in any aspect or claim of christianity in any of its forms.Leave the greco roman pagan destructive cult and come to the only true G-D! The ONE and ONLY G-D of Yisrael! Ha Mashiach is at the corner, and you have to make your decision soon, otherwise you will not have a portion in the world to come!

May Christ Jesus bless you Read the genealogy of Christ Jesus in Mathew chapter one Read the blessings of Jacob to his son Joseph in genesis 49:24 And genesis 49:10 Judah and what they prophecies Read the blessings to children of Israel by Moses song in Deuteronomy 33:17 Combine with zechariah 12 Know Messiah Jesus came as per what prophets said Was born, preached the gospel to the Jews , Died and rose as per scripture He fulfilled the First four Holy feast given to Israel. May Almighty God be with you Am a Kenyan gentle and I believe in the finished work on the cross Blessed be the children of Israel Gods chosen nation but understand as an individual we are sinners and needs atonement That's why Christ came Isaiah 49:5-6 To bring Israel back to God and to be a light to gentiles And was done about two thousand years ago Thanks to Jews for the gospel And for giving us the saviour Jesus Christ Shalom
