Buffett had great taste back then in his repertoire of originals and well-chosen truly off-beat pieces like Lord Buckley blew. Wonder if he still has such great taste given his entrepreneurial colossus with the MARGARITAVILLE franchise? Good talent, great work ethic. Bless Buffett for creating jobs where so many others who've made it big have never thought of adding a folk club or cafe to this neighborhood or a production shop to that 'hood. Do listen to all of Lord Buckley's records. This stash of Bashful Bob's gig bootlegs is quite a find and this version of "God's Own Drunk" has some subtle variations from the one issued on record I keep going back to.
