God's Virago and Ours

When God first created the woman from the side of Adam, before the fall, Adam named her “Virago.” “Adam said: This now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman [Virago], because she was taken out of man” (Genesis 2:23). Adam changed her name to Eve after they both fell. But the name Virago is quite interesting and helpful in understanding what Our Lady is all about. Amazingly, throughout the entire Holy Bible, this name only appears in this one place before the Fall. All the dictionaries I consulted, three in all, agree on its meaning: “a man-like, vigorous, heroic maiden; a female warrior, heroine.” The woman made from Adam’s side failed to live up to her name because she failed to be dependent… she did her own thing without any authority…seeking to become a god. Whereas Our Lady is God’s Virago... She is creation restored by being successfully and supremely dependent on God. What a great sermon, by one of my favorite priests. I’ll protestants should listen to this, because they are bereft when it comes to the virginity of God and Mary and many arguments have happened because of the differences in the religions. I get sick and tired of protestants who disparage Mary to my face, and of course I have to speak up, but I make NO friends when I do. Holy virgin mother of god pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen

And the Angel spoke to Her in fear, crying out '' Hail, Thou through whom the curse will cease. Hail, Thou restoration of fallen Adam: Hail, Thou redempion of the tears of Eve. My personal opinion: the Blessed Virgin Mary and her role is only quietly explained in the Bible so that in order to truly know her you must be a (her) child of the True Church. . The Holy Ghost (Who dictated Holy Scripture) wanted it this way for He is Mary's spouse. It was all part of the Plan for redemption. Our Blessed Mother plays the pivotal role and the Protestants are blind to her beauty and her dominion because they aren't the True Church. They're lying to themselves and professing faith in a God of their own imagination.

Christ Jesus Himself is the one who crushes the head of the serpent prophesized at the fall of man, anyone else even *trying* to do so is being made into a false god; so the belief that Mary would crush the head of the serpent is heretical, and idolitrous at least in terms of its severity- get it through your heads, folks... it is *Christ Jesus Himself* who crushes the head of the evil one, not His mom, no matter how holy she is, it's not her job, it's His!

The 'TRUTH' of Our Lady is always good to hear in counter to so many propogated lies, slander, blasphemy, heresies. However, having the 'sin' of pride (takes one to know one), I must say that your delivery father, is terrible. Having a background in RTV, you are emPHAsizing in all the wrong places, which greatly distracts from the power of the message. This comes from 'enjoying' your own talents.
