The Bible is a handbook on slavery with instructions. No one should ever forget the fact that the God of the Bible endorsed non-Hebrew slaves to be slaves for life .

The claim that the Bible is a "handbook on slavery" is completely wrong. The story of Exodus shows God freeing His people from slavery in Egypt-it’s a core part of who God is. And the gospel is about Jesus freeing us from the ultimate slavery: sin. During American slavery, slavers gave enslaved people the “Slave Bible,” which was heavily edited to remove any mention of freedom-like the Exodus story or verses like Galatians 3:28 (“there is neither slave nor free… all are one in Christ”). If the Bible actually endorsed slavery, there’d be no need to censor it. God’s heart is for freedom. The Bible is about rescue and redemption, freeing people from both physical and spiritual chains.
