No he was planning on killing Sonic; he still attempted to touch Flashy Flash with the cube, meaning it doesn't matter if someone pulled him out from god allusion; he can still be influenced by god, but he did want to kill Sonic due to Sonic actually rejecting god and not needing someone else's help to get him out of said illusion.

The swords in Void's back is likely just Murata's mistake, he forgot these kind of details many times before. A simple edit from his assisstant team can fix this. As for Blast's arm, we saw how he can connect to it by using his portal powet in previous chapter so likely that he just reattached it back offscreen.

Don't get me wrong, I really like One Punch Man's God, but the execution behind it is rather wonky. When you take a look at someone like Bill Cipher, for instance, he came off as initially goofy before immediately twisting the main cast into a pretzel. I really wish God is actually showcased as the threat it really is because so far, it just seems shallow.

The fake "god" threat is the only thing I don't like about the entire Manga myself, it was lame when supernatural tv show did it and itl always be lame especially if they are genuinely implying its actually literally one and only "God" if it turned out to be a monster or entity posing as god that'd be one thing, but anything else is just lame and yeah its literally the one thing I don't like at all and I really really hope it's not nearing its end soon because there is just to many good and great characters and stories and arcs to tell that should last for years and years, hopefully it's not as simple as then all the heroes gather and defeat "god" and free the world/save the world from evil "god" that would be very unfortunate and lame.

One is simply laying ideas and the story ahead for Murata to follow, his exaggerating visuals of fights and slightly different ideas of how things could go is up to "Murata", and his ideas are not too far off from the original source. Plus there is a mistake in this bc why does Empty Void have his dimensional blades back? Don't use "bc he can manipulate reality" bs because there's not a single evidence that he can "create" something in reality. Not to mention Saitama is the one who holds them, also he didn't even use his "swords" instead throws fist combos on Blast. If I’m understand it correctly the last sequence is showing what Void was PLANNING to do after he absorbed Garou’s factor. He was going to gather as many avatars as possible and then give them Garou’s factor so they could reject God and defeat him together. But I guess something happened that caused Void to change his mind. Swords are definitely a mistake though. So is Blast having his hand back. It’s not something they’d just offscreen after making it seem like losing it was a big deal.

I still have my hope it can be fixed, but I have been seeing worrying signs this year and I don't see a change in sight soon. It’s probably gonna go how every other fight has gone so far. God is going to boast about his powers, and how he’s basically unbeatable. Then him and Saitama are going to trade blows for a bit, in which god will then reveal he’s been holding back. God will then either transform or release his full power, start to match or even ‘beat’ saitama, only for saitama to stop holding back as god becomes a legitimate threat to reality/universe/earth. Saitama unsuppressed will over power god in an instant, with a serious punch/attack vs god’s strongest move and the fight will end there.

I don't think he's saying he went to fight God immediately. I think the narrator is saying after he absorbed gods power he made a decision to create as many avatars as possible. Once he had an army he would then release the the power he absorbed from garou on to his army thus allowing them to regain their free will and rebel against God. This event did not happen. He's planning to do it Eventually.
