the original player of this song, carl fortina came to my house when i was a little kid because he is my dads friend. he came in and played the piano... upside down. then when my sister offered him some money for his good performance, he said "kid i don't want your money" and she replied "don't worry, it's my dads" lol

Chords for part 2, as I hear them: Gm x 2 , Dm x 2 , Gm x 2 , D x 2 , Gm x 2 , Dm x 2, E x 2 , A7 x 2 Then the melody comes back but is played starting on G instead of D as in the first part, thus the chords changes to: Gm x 2 , Cm x 4 , Gm x 4 , D7 x 1, Gm x 1 , Cm x 2 , Gm x 2 , D7 x 2 , Gm x 1 , Eflat x 1 , Cm x 1 , D7 x 1 , Gm

Thanks for teaching this. I enjoy your dancing. This is a wonderful way to teach a waltz - by moving. Do wish I could see your features. They are important when you are performing - your expression and enthusiasm. So many performers of accordion allow their heads to be cut off! Disconcerting for some, though not for others.

Hurrah! What a wonderful performance! I got inspired to practice my music better and better on my electronic keyboard. Even if electronic keyboard imitates the same it can't beat the real accordion. When melody on right hand manual played without accompaniment on left hand manual it sounds like mouth-harmonica. When melody on right hand manual with bass notes and chords on left hand manual simultaneously played sounds like woodwind quintet.

+xxHaranxx This was a Crucianelli accordion. It was wonderful and big and had lots of voices on the right hand (most of which didn't work unfortunately). I'm not in the UK, but am in Canada. I know of an accordion shop in Toronto that tunes and restores accordions, though I don't know of any resources in the UK. Perhaps try asking on an accordion community in the UK, the conservatory, or a an accordion message board? Drop me a message if you're ever on Vancouver Island and it would be lovely to play together.
