Like that should be obvious especially if you've got the same background. The human mind only goes so far. And taking inspiration or recycling old material is literally how originality worsk ask any music/painting ever.
@AlmostaFlipinSkater4 жыл бұрын
For real. Just because you hear the same drum beat and fill in a song doesn't mean that drummer stole it from another. Same goes with comedy or really any art form.
@RPMguitar924 жыл бұрын
@@AlmostaFlipinSkater depends on the context. If someone uses a generic, rudimentary drum fill that has been used in millions of songs and is so fundamental to the playing of drums that one probably couldn't learn to play without working such a fill out - its pretty much fair game. But if you literally copy someone's beats for a song from start to finish and the sole change you make is hitting a crash instead of a China one or two times - I'd personally qualify that as theft/plagiarism. Which many musicians have been accused and found guilty of it. Which is essentially like what Amy Schumer or Carlos Mencia did, which is steal someone else's jokes from the premise to the punchline, and merely replace singular names/words to make it seem like their own. That's like me painting the Mona Lisa wearing a red dress and attempting to call it a holistically original work.

For everyone who is confused as to why he says he is Nigerian; it is because he is not 'African-American' but rather a first generation African in America. If he still speaks his parents' language/s at home, bilingual/multilingual, and he doesn't have the same culture/traditions as African-American people. He is a person caught between the perception of what an African man should be and what an American man should be, so he doesn't quite fit in on either side.

na he right about that, ..and thats sports bro,, Nigerians don't fight, not cuz they cowards..but Nigerians'll calculate everything in terms of what do I stand to gain? and reputation is big with them, a Nigerian might think if I fight and end up loosing my job, what next? he straight up clowning but he right on that one

I can completely relate. Im Nigerian by geography. But we moved here when i was 5 or 6 years old. I'm now m about to be 34 soon. So it's the same thing. I'm still treated differently because i wasnt raised back home. God bless you Godfrey.
@lekankoku16542 жыл бұрын
Lol so do you expect to be treated the same? Can you actually relate to the Nigerian experience? Can you speak or understand at least Nigerian pidgin English or any Nigerian language? Like I don't get all you lot. You are not Nigerian, Nigerian descent Yes, Nigerian No
@lekankoku16542 жыл бұрын
@@ezj9103 Lol pidgin was just an example. You do not relate with the Nigerian experience which can be vastly different depending on the part of the country as you did not grow up there as you clearly stated. So of course you'll be treated differently, can't blame anyone for applying common sense
@lekankoku16542 жыл бұрын
@@ezj9103 lol where did I ever say anything about corruption and all this things you're are talking about 😂😂. I just said the nigerian experience and you equate that to poverty and corruption. I'm not even surprised like 😂, I know your type so I know exactly what I'm saying, there is no problem with actual Nigerians treating you "differently" There's alot to being a Nigerian than just corruption, poverty and burna boy and wizkid that your kind like to narrow it down too.
