Been there, heard it, lived it. Was there when U2 played sunday bloody sunday: "To claim the victory Jesus won." Was there when U2 played Gloria. Was there when they played 40. Everybody, the whole stadion sang "How long to sing this song, how long to sing this song". I could still hear people sing it half an hour after the concert finished. Awesome Was there when U2 played with B.B. King, When love comes to town. All of that was awesome and just 5 minutes of a U2 song did much more to me then hours in church. Have been to Africa, saw a U2 poster left behind by another u2 fan hanging on a wall in a village (Kibaale, Rakai District, Uganda) where many people died because of Aids. U2 with their songs have had a mighty influence on the peace proces in Northern Ireland. What an amazing man to speak of our Lord and our Father. And it shows he has studied. Together with thousands of others, I got to leave my body while hospitalized at the age of 9. Many NDE’s (Near Death Experiencer’s) have met God. All I will say is you cannot imagine how blissful it is to be out of the body and in the presence of God. There are no words to describe it. I hope and pray everyone gets to experience God’s love. Wether it be here in the flesh or in the spirit ❤️🙏😊

uh hey there, Dave, buddy, umm i don't think 'near death' or 'death experiences' match up with what the Bible-GOD'S WORD-NOT YOU, say........the bible says it is appointed unto man ONCE to die, it doesn't say anything about dying then coming back, you got to take scripture in context and be born again and shown by God's Spirit the truth of just what God's Word is saying, or you won't understand it, the Holy Ghost-God's Spirit, wrote the bible all through the ages through godly men, the bible says, SO ONLY HE CAN EXPLAIN IT! sure the apostle Paul went to heaven, i'm sure he died when he went, but when he came back-all this by God's power-for we are nothing of our own selves, Paul was not allowed to tell of what he saw, God, to humble Paul, even sent him a messenger of Satan to buffet him, but here you are 'David' bragging, boasting of how you went out of body etc and acting all pious/holier than thou toward us all, proud, when God says he resisteth the proud and exalteth the humble -don't see any humility in you, david, just arrogant prideful boasting, the bible talks about people as you, deceived, in the last days, the bible says the last will be first and the first will be last, i think it's all the 'praise God' people etc. who are going to end up in hell, then the lake of fire for eternity...............hitler may even be in heaven, we don't know, he lived out his last days in Argentina or some south american country-proof is solid, with his wife, Eva Braun, and their two daughters, God can forgive hitler-anyone, and im tired of hearing this unbiblical lie of 'there are special places in hell for certain people' that's not biblical-hell is hell-same for all who have gone there, are there now, and are going.

CS Lewis said something to the effect that we don't so much need people writing books or painting pictures about Christianity as we do writers and artists who are Christians. That's what I love about these comments by Bono. Here you have this highly capable, accomplished, and widely respected man who, when the subject comes up, freely says, "Oh yes, I live the way I do because I follow and worship Jesus Christ, the Son of God. "

Everyone listen...If your going to comment and complain, here's some info as most of you are clearly lacking.... The interviewer(Gabriel Byrne) is highly respected and well established in this role, Bono & G. Byrne are from the same city and are friends for many years, U2 gave the interviewer a Harley Davidson upon his retirement from the longest running talk show in the world some years back. He is 80yrs old and this IS his well know neutral/objective technique for all his guests in the TV series 'the meaning of life'. I'm just giving a bit of context. People are well entitled to give their critical opinion of him from there...as I'm not campaigning for him. Bottom line...Bono believes in Jesus Christ.

God Bless you, Bono, for summing up, in such a simplified way, why you believe in Jesus and that He is the truth and the way to God. There is nothing hostile about the interviewer. There is maturity in respecting older people, who come from different roots and culture. We would do wise to consider them in their context, and to watch and pray for Bono, a man who has some kind of relationship with the savior,... but who IS actually controlling Bono? Is it Jesus Christ , or is it a world and angel so deceptive that even Bono is 'taken in' ??
