great video! only the comment on the bare bulb is a little brief - if you use it backfiring at a white umbrella outside during daytime maybe you don't see too much of a difference to the fresnell head. but when using with a proper softbox that lights from behind through two diffusors there is a big difference to the fresnell head, because the open bulb correctly fills all the softbox. of course, if you never use it that way that might not mean much, but if someone does then the open bulb option is an absolute game changer!

Very nice job overall, and for the review and for your food photos! I think in close to average distances 100pro is totally fine/great, but the main point of buying 200pro vs 100pro is when you want to light lets say a big place from way behind like a venue/children theater and you will have to use 100pro at 1/2 and full power all the time. You can easily need 2 or 3 batteries for 100pro and also come across overheating issues (lets also not forget that batteries life decline as you use them and the full power shots wont be 360 for ever). With 200pro you will have to worry much much less about these things.

Great video. Can you help me decide what light to buy next for my kit? I own 2 v860ii s, and just ordered a V1 with the AK modifier kit on sale from B&H. I mainly ordered this because it has faster recycle times than the 860ii's, and I wanted to give the modifiers a try, as well as a metal hot shoe base. I want something a bit more powerful and versatile for portraits. I do not have a studio - so, it would be on-location / traveling. so ease of use and portability matters. I'm leaning toward the ad300pro. But it's hard to ignore the versatility of the ad200pro. 300 has better recycle times, a little more power (but hardly, real world), and the godox mount, which I think would be useful, as I have 2 Glow Parasnap 36 and 44in modifiers that can take that mount. But... the 200.... people just love it. What do you think?

Nice thanks. You should have talked more about this tint issue, because it is a real problem if you work with several flashes; if it can be fixed with a filter, you reduce the power of the flash as much. The AD100 is not as qualitative and versatile as the AD200 which also allows you to work with a bulb, so much better for homogeneity. AD100 vs AD200 ? AD200 rules by far.

Thanks for such an useful comparison! The difference in Kelvins is something I see for the first time after tonns of videos about compact Godox / Flashpoint heads. Also I’m glad you did a real-world job where we use 1/2 and 1/4 to 1/8 to save the lamp and the battery health. Hope someday everyone will understand there is no pleasure to blow up your unit by blasting at full power just because it increases the photons per dollar ratio. 😅 For 1,5 years I’ve been using two opposites: either 3 to 5 off-camera flashes or the AD600 + AD1200 combo, but now in search of something in between like 100 to 400 W/s units as an all-rounder kit. What is still sad is that we still have to use really tall (and heavy) light stands or an assistant to rise the light high enough for portraiture. 🥲 Thank you again! Peace. 👍

My personal choice is what I suggest. The basic model AD600BM (not M and not a Pro!) in it's special slim-fit shoulder bag + H600B extension head. That gives you Bowens mount high above the groung while still resting all the heavy & expensive stuff at the very bottom. Love this set 100%! The AD600BM's cost is around the AD300 Pro range, and then add about 25% for lowering the mass with the H600B. Just notice it reduces the power output from 600 to ~530, but worth it. @@photographer8486

So I should be able to use it quite easily when I take it with me outdoors. I will have to keep trying different things and keep my best to stick to it. So keeping all these things in mind, should I go for this TT600 or AD200 or AD100 pro or V1?
@AntonLitvin87 Жыл бұрын
@@photographer8486 Honestly, in case of travel I would only take my tiny V350 and a trigger to save weight. No even TT600’s needed. Maybe TT350 would be even better for half the price of V350. If weight is not an issue then you’ll be happy with V1. 🫶 Not only as a strobe.
