Imagine this sounds when you are climbing the staircase up to the Hall of Origins, you can't run, ride your bike or go back. It's only you and your Pokémon, and when 5 minutes of staircase with this playing finish, you finally see Arceus, and battle with him, with God itself, who doesn't have a battle theme. Only the wind blowing.

Alternatively, I like to think of a city that Arceus favors being besieged by some great, evil army. All seems bleak, the enemy has smashed open the gates and the defenders are falling by the hundreds just to keep them out of the city for just a short while longer. Then all other sound stops as this track begins and Arceus appears from nowhere, in the sky above the city, descending slowly. All of the enemies within the city combust as he lands and begins striding forwards slowly. The moment he crosses the gates, the world itself turns against the evil army. The air flees their lungs, the earth swallows them whole, the wind tears them to shreds, their bodies burst into flames from the inside out, lightning strikes them from a clear sky, plants tear into them and devour their flesh; all in a wave of death, spreading outwards ever further as the Pokemon God walks. He approaches the army's leader, a vile, horrible, fearsome thing, flat on its ass and gibbering in fear as the God it did not believe would ever come to his people's aid stands over it. Then Arceus merely leans down and lightly presses the end of its golden-tipped helm to the beasts forehead, and it drops to the ground, lifeless, its soul utterly destroyed. Then, Arceus rises back into the sky, leaving behind the last dying remnants of the enemy's army, as well as the awed gazes of his people, those who had the survived the fighting and those who had come alive again to stand in the same places they had fallen. I may have put too much thought into this.

I could imagine, if Platinum were more of a stereotypical "prophesied hero" tale, with some disaster that needs preventing or a villain needing to be stopped, you'd have to go on some kind of pilgrimage to try and battle and catch the other gods, as a kind of proof of your divine rite and having to earn the way up Mt. Coronet. And then, when you reach Arceus' Hall, and he looks down upon you, you walk up to him, bow deeply, and then walk to your side of the arena silently. No pleasantries need to be exchanged, no explanations on either side. You both know what must be done.

i like how at the start, it (at least i think) uses the DPPt Soundfont, but then as it goes on, the trumpets and chanting are joined by higher quality sounds, like harps, violins, and electronic noises. This is a story befiting such a divine entity: The golden gates that resemble His holy ring are trashed by Pokemon that were imperfect to Him and as such were sent to an alternate dimension known as the Wastevoid. The invaders were impure, possessing qualities and traits He did not desire. They were known as the Impurities. The Impurities wanted vengeance against their creator, so they tarnished the holy gold of his city by breaking apart the towers, pillars and homes composed of clouds and air. There was a giant golden ring resembling His own ring that stretched across the entire city. It levitated,undisturbed until one of the Impurities flew high enough to somehow inconceivably scratch the ring. Moments after, the giant floating being glows red with rage. A black and gold beam shoots from the ring onto the entire city. Then a tall, menacing white shadow descended from the ring. There He was, the entity whose worshipers adopted His patterns and His ring as a symbol of order. He descends, His eyes glowing red with anger, then He reveals His true appearance. The Impurities tremble with fear,instantaneously regretting their transgressions as the figure of light stares down coldly at His scrapped designs. The leader of the impurities has the nerve to try to attack Him, which proved useless as the figure of light used his imperial light to tear the impurity apart into many atoms that were then discarded into a gray glowing sphere that the figure of light took with him during his descent. The impurities are trembling and bawling. The figure of light looks up with his furious eyes and says in an almighty voice " You impure wretches! You had the gall to tarnish MY civilization??!! As punishment, I shall tear you to the smallest of atoms and discard your parts to be recycled into actually PURE designs!!". He uses His light once again to rip apart all the impurities. He then discards their parts into the gray sphere. And then He shapes the sphere into a javelin which He then throws into a white hole He created, where the atoms are them put together into some of His pure designs. He then rises again. His people watch with joy as He returns to the ring from where he came, into a dimension even higher than their own. All the damage done by the impurities is then undone by his light and the people rejoice as they call out his name:"Arceus!".

if we take this whole theme to be the theme of arceus readying to pass the apocalype his divine wrath and end all creation of the insignificant gnats we are. we can take this part as the lake trio attempting to appeal to arceus to reconsider his judgment and the subsequent resuming of the theme of destruction speaks of that trio's appeal being firmly denied and the final bit is a bit of a blend of the the two themes saying to me the lake trio continued to attempt to appeal to arceus as he continues his march of destruction giving their feeble cries of mercy no heed.

Cyrus has bound all of the creation trio. He is ready to begin forming his perfect universe. The power is there, at his fingertips. Then.... Silence ensues as the sky parts. Glowing light comes from an unknown light as Arceus arrives. This theme begins to play, and Arceus has come to deliver his wrath. You can feel both the power.... and the sheer anger of "what MORTAL has the AUDACITY to ENSLAVE MY CHILDREN AND CREATE A NEW UNIVERSE?!" After erasing Cyrus from existence for trying to do such deeds, he turns to the Galactic Admins who run away screaming. He looks down at you and thank you for your efforts in stopping Cyrus. Arceuse breaks the chains bounding his children. They then ascend back into the sky (or down to the Distortion World), and the day is saved. You notice something is on the ground where Arceus was. You pick it up, and its an Azure Flue. Inscribed upon it is "Blow into this flute to summon Him." You know you will be back later at this here pillar.

And once you get to the top you hear a voice "one of space.....one of time....one of the darkness" you question what you just heard. All of a sudden a glowing staircase emerges. You walk up them and at the top you see something. A ghostly shadow of what looks like a pokemon. Nothing but glowing orange eyes and a cloud of grey. You fight it and it goes down rather easily but it was still quite hard. All of a sudden the voice appears again. "That was but a test young one." "You still have a challenge ahead of yourself" "You captured the three of creation." "All three guardians" "All the titans" "The one of magma" "Gods of dreams and nightmares" "The guardian of the oceans" "The being of nature" "You caught them all" "Except one...." "The creator of all" "The origin pokemon" "Your final challenge" "I, ARCEUS CHALLENGE YOU!" "IF YOU ARE WORTHY YOU MAY CAPTURE ME!" "BUT I SHALL LET YOU KNOW YOU HAVE ONLY ONE SHOT AND I WON'T TAKE THIS LIGHTLY!" "HAVE AT THEE!" You encounter Arceus!!

Arceus Theme Remix? More like "My own song that is inspired by Arceus' theme" It sounds cool, but it's not at all Arceus' theme. We need dissonant brass, we need percussion, a shitton of it! We don't need a melody, we don't need elegant harp/synth sounds and strings the whole time, that could be used for slight variation. But you did the exact opposite. Again, it sounds cool, and really epic, but this is not at all Arceus' theme, but still, it's epic, and could be a boss theme of a good indie game.

sorry for necro but this is what I feel for a lot of remixes here in KZbin. A lot of them say "remix" or "remaster" but it's like... they only took a tiny bit of the original and mash in their own ideas with it. I mean, it's not really bad, but it's kind of disappointing to barely here the original tune that you're looking for. It's no longer 's theme, it's just a melody inspired by it.

I think it does sound like an Arceus theme, but not the battle theme, the encounter theme before you battle it and are walking up a large flight of stairs.

This is really powerful. The only way you could ever hear the original theme was through cheating. Just you and god itself. The silence in riddled between the higher notes emphasises this. Just you. Against the original one. Shame you could catch him. :(

SheepPharaoh And that's pretty much the ONLY way you'd catch it easy. But what about Legendary Pokemon like, say, Giratina? You can't even False Swipe them, and with many others they have a chance of managing to annihilate your team while you're busy throwing Pokeballs at them. Sure, Arceus is well worth it, but if you already used your Master Ball and aren't lucky enough to get another from the Raffle Corner, you're not going to get it easy. It would be absolutely AWESOME to see someone catch it without a Master Ball though.

I found this remix on your Souncloud before. I must say I really love what you have done here. I really have the feeling I'm facing a god when I'm listening to this piece. Only one problem (which is not really one for me) : This could almost have been its own thing, I can hear similarities with the original theme but it's hard to tell if it's really a remix or if this was just inspired by Arceus battle theme.
