In my youth I played the Sega Mega-Drive version. Many things stand out, I remember how pretty the treasure looked, it looked pretty enough to eat. And what is the health meter? Elixir? Life essence? I used to imagine it was a pot of jam and all the bosses had different flavors.

Had this on the original Amiga, was never able to complete it though and still end up with only 1 life in the new one. I like what they did with the graphics though, how do you do that killing of a boss with less than 10% health trophy?

Before the first boss being the easiest, deliberately weaken yourself from enemies just before, then roll on into the giants lair and just don't get hit lol.

I had a friend that would clock this round and round on the Amiga 500, he played for so long that the score counting at the end of each level took hours.

@@littlezit2 - How so? Were you there? It’s totally possible as the game is the same every time and the lives etc are carried over to the next play-through. I too have a friend that knows this game like the back of his hand and he too played the Amiga version to death. Don’t judge others on your own standards.

I used to play Gods on Amiga. The only thing missing in the Amiga version was the smooth scrolling they had integrated in that remastered one.

Every single playthrough of Gods, I've seen everyone leave out the lightning before heading for the boss room. Does that even get removed like the time bomb?

So that's playing the game three times in a row without turning off the console? As for beating the game in under an hour, does it have to be in the speedrun mode, or can you do it normally? Because some of this just seems insane lol.

It doesn't have to be speedrun mode, you can attempt the 60 minute run on the normal mode too. As for the three playthroughs, the game auto saves so you can come back to it.

Hi there, I have two questions about two trophies. One about second passage ( never open with me ) on ps4pro . Two about the 30 treasure chest ( how I can know chests number ) ?????? Thanks for your help

The second secret passage is very time sensitive, if you don't get there quick enough then it will not open. Make sure you flick all switches as shown and buy the shield at the start of the level to make the middle section easier. Don't know how you track the chests on the PS4, but if you follow both parts of the walkthrough you should get it before the end.

I would have had them remaster the SNES version, never played the amiga version but this remaster looks like their playing on the moon. Gameplay is slower then the SNES and is clearly lacking the awesome music that version had.

@@gutsyboozetank the Amiga version was the original version, it was meant to be this speed, it's a puzzle platformer not a speed platformer, and they opted for SFX only as it was more atmospheric and due to how long it takes to complete the game, the music would have gotten old quickly.

Thanks for this guide i finished the game once and decided to search for the secrets that i missed on my first walktrough. But for some reason the secret switch on level 1 isnt working and i also cant get acess to secret passage 2. I already cleared my saves from my Xbox and from Xbox Live and it was the same cant get to those and also to the jump potion on level 2... Probably a glitch. And i also re instaled the game and stiill the same problem do you have any advice for me ??? :(

A lot of the secrets in this time are time sensitive and won't unlock unless you get there quickly. For Secret Passage 2, make sure you buy the shield from the shop and use it where shown as it makes it a lot easier. Also, make sure you flick switches the EXACT number of times shown, any more or less and they won't open. Hope this helps.

@@DarkSithLord69 Yes, it needs to be 3 in a row, the game gets slightly harder each time but at least you won't have other achievements to worry about on the other 2.

Ignoring the lightning bolt will give you chest and key right after you defeat the guardian (before the long ladder).

@@HammerHand83 You'll actually lose monies this way, since y'have to leave a bunch of diamonds along wit' the Lightning Bolt, and they worth more than the golden chest.

@@TheLambdaTeam You can still go to the room where the Lighting Bolt is and collect most of the diamonds there but avoid picking the weapon itself. This way you probably make more 💰 collectively because of the chest and key that drop after defeating the Guardian.

Yep, you need to press the hidden switch to the left of the ladder at the end of World 1 within two minutes of starting the game. This will then activate the hidden switch on the platform for the giant jump potion.

Hidden Passage #2 and the block switch in World 1-1 are absolutely bugged. Won't open even when I did it faster than you. Oh well, just gonna do what I can. EDIT: Got both done. Should have waited before jumping to conclusions lol.

@@HammerHand83 Do you have to have specific constraints for opening the secret second passage, I am less than 2 mins 20, and I have over 80,000 pts, but do you have to have a specific amount of lives also as I only have 4.

@@jane1975 As far as I know, proper timing is the only factor here, but remember that just as shown in the video, the secret passage opens only when you're on the top platform. (I've read somewhere that you also need more than 2 lives, and over 80000 points for it to work, so you seem to meet the conditions). My suggestion is start from Level 1 World 1 and make sure you get all the optional bonuses (including the impossible switch in W1, the jump potion in W2, and the second pot in W2) and then try to beat the 140 second time limit for Secret Passage 2. Let me know if it works :)

@@HammerHand83 It eventually worked and I got the trophy, had to delete my saves and wrote everything down like switches etc and eventually it opened and I got the trophy on my second account [ its a 100% only account so its going to be hard ] thanks for your response.

So, I am trying to get "The Impossible Switch", performed the video exactly and still nothing. I am playing on PS4 but don't believe the trophies/achievements are any different to each other. Is anyone else having this same problem?

Secrets such as this one are time sensitive, so not only do you have to do everything in order, you also have to do it quickly. Take too long and the platform under the switch won't rise up.

I think it's bugged on the PS4. You're supposed to move the platform if you flick the switch within 120 seconds... but I cannot make it move! I have done this video EXACTLY the same. Just as fast. Every switch in the same way. Nothing.

@@johnnyw525 5 months later now and decided to try again whilst in lockdown and it's still not popping. I've timed it and I'm doing this now faster than the video! 🤬 Also, one difference I have noticed between Xbox and PS versions. The platform where the first key location is, below it on PS spawns 2 monsters and only 1 on Xbox🤨

No. Following this guide will get you 43/46 achievements but the last three are pretty tough. Once you've finished it once though you should have the skills to keep going!
