No words for this song. I think it's the atmospheric bridge that kills me. I'm not even that big a fan of Godsmack to be honest. Somehow this song has REALLY taken me by storm though. If the rest of the album sounds like this and less like the title track, I may end up buying this record!

having put music for 16 years, a generation has gone by, this is what this song is about, the 50 s teens are 80 now the teens of the 60 s now are close to or have retired, the teens of the 70 s ,like myself are in their 50s,and when godsmack started out in the 90 s their teens have reached 40, not 20 anymore,if you still expect them to put out songs like "whatever" your delusional, the music has to evolve & change with the times, for example did you expect the wall by pink floyd to sound like atom heart mother, or zeppelin s presence to sound like zepp 2 or black sabbath s 13 to sound like the black sabbath album, or the king nothing album by metallica to sound like kill em all, music changes with time, i m a true godsmack fan and appreciate the talent that they have as musicians, everyone needs to get over themselves, nothing ever stays the same, if you don t like it don t listen, move on and let the true fans appreciate the value of this band because they in my opinion, are the best ever & i ve heard a lot of bands since 1970

I'm a long time Godsmack fan, but after Faceless, they've gone so soft, along with countless other bands I love...ugh. I'll give the album a listen before buying, but this is FAR from Godsmack's best effort

Well this song sounds like the old ones., but this song isn't the heavy one. It sounds half heavy like old ones, but in same time half soft (alternative rock/metal) like old alternative ones. Good song, but little bit booring, if they gona make heavy ones again, than make heavy with out that alternative music touch.

People are harsh about this album.. andI don't totally disagree with them. I actually really like this song..when apparently a lot of ppl dont...and i enjoy a few others but this album doesnt really do it for me. I'm not sure why no one has any love for the oracle. I personally think it was a great album for godsmack with songs like "crying like a bitch" love hate sex pain" saints and sinners, and cant forget what if?! But this album is nothing special, still sounds like godsmack tho. Which ISNT a band thing to all u so called fans.. Maybe people have to just stop complaining. I listen to lots of other metal bands and the comments on most of their latest videos are complaints of the band "changing TO much....." when will we be satisfied?? Just stfu and enjoy that Godsmack still sounds like...GODSMACK.

The Oracle was alright, it had heart, and was true to their sound... even if rather repetitive at times. I don't particularly care for this or the other new track (1000 HP) at all. The lyrics are a little bland, and the riffs are actually rather plain... they seem much less inspired here than on prior efforts.

I used to like Godsmack, i enjoyed every album up to The Oracle, it was good.. but very "linear" . And this song and the first they released are just.. meh. I mean they just should be better than this. The riffs are easier than ever with no gripping melody and the vocals are as stale. Sully has a great voice, but when he can't make more than three different vocal melodies, it gets really boring. I liked them before, but now they just sound like a local band trying to make it, and failing.. It's pathetic seeing this is how they make a living. If this album is as bad as the songs they've released, i have as little respect for them as i have for miley cyrus or justin bieber. Nothing.
