My heart bleeds for Sully...his pain is so palpable in this song. I can see the pain in his face and hear his anguish in his vocals. Equally, Shannon, Tony and Robbie pour their hearts into this making it a true masterpiece. I've been in this exact same situation myself coming home from a 14 month deployment to find my then wife seven months pregnant. The lyrics took me back to that exact moment. My second marriage ended when I came back from 10 days in the field to find my second wife with my best friend. Sully, THANK YOU for gutting out your pain and putting it into song. This is truly a tragic work of art and I know for a fact it will speak to many more who have gone through, or are going through, this same betrayal. Blessings to you and your brothers who have not only stood by you, but help hold you up.

Believe me, I got Married and was pronounced terminally ill, worked x2 jobs to put my husband through college to professional level. I discovered, when he had stolen all the bond payments on the home i had held an extra job down on to furnish, he had a child with my best friend, another affair with his secretary, and his own best friend's wife. He supposedly came from a good family, but turned out to be a conman, philanderer and a thief.
