The audio quality on this is better than most official live recordings. J.Mart did an incredible job on the mastering. I’ve been lucky enough to see this band live many times and this captures the power and intimacy perfectly. I can’t believe I’m only seeing this video in 2023

I have been lucky enough to see them 11 times since 2010. Each concert has been a wonderful experience, but I would love to see them playing some of these old songs. Don't bend Ascend Godspeed 🙌

Somehow I'd never heard of GY!BE until shortly before seeing their show at SF's Castro Theatre this year. I was completely blown away and have been listening to them constantly since. This 2010 show is stellar. Not exactly what I saw, but sure captures the experience, and the guitar noise here is gorgeous. Sorry I missed so many chances to see them before, but I'll be there next time.

Yeah I was up late the night before watching Thee Oh Sees, The Ex and The Country Teasers and incredibly drunk. I never got the memo that they had changed the set time to noon. Someone I made friends with in the row cottages came pounding on my door at 12:15 to let me know. I caught about 2/3rd's of this set so it is definitely nice to see what I missed on this. I hope this never gets taken down off KZbin. I could watch this forever. Cheers from Brad in Chicago. 😀
