Godtear Review - Best Miniatures Game EVER?!

It’s incredible! We still table this game quite often (which is normally difficult to do given the nature of being a reviewer) and love exploring new Warbands as they get released. Glad to hear you enjoy it!!

We have been meaning to try it that way for some time now! I don’t see why not… should be a seamless thing integrate and doesn’t seem like it would take away from gameplay at all.

You have to learn your heroes and warband can't be a Con. Every skirmish Game you have to learn your Squad/Army

Aristeia is very similar to Godtear, but I feel Godtear streamlined some of the more convoluted mechanisms that Aristeia has. I would choose Godtear any day of the week!

@@talkingcardboard thank god i canceled my aristeia! order then and got Godtear borderlands with 4 extra warbands instead :D

Have you guys ever tried Warhammer Underworlds? If so, how would you compare it to this? And which one you would prefer? (if you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it, me and my girlfriend play it A LOT, almost every week, and it loads of fun, easy and quick to play, very tatical, luck-base dice-chucking deck-building game) It looks similar to Godtear, which is why Godtear is picking my interest, but it's really hard to find something that beats Underworlds in our book.

We have not yet played Warhammer Underworlds, but that game has definitely been on my radar too. It does seem similar to Godtear, except has deck building where Godtear is more action-point driven. I love the ladder points system and fighting over flags in Godtear and its design seems to be more open to allowing 2v2 or even 3v3 play if desired which is nice! -Cory
