Hey folks! Glad you enjoyed the video! A few things I'll clear up since I'm seeing some repeat comments: *WARNING DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY COMMENTS THAT SAY "Want to be friends?" or "You remember me?" THIS IS A HACKER BOT ACCOUNT. DO NOT RESPOND TO THE COMMENT OR SUBSCRIBE TO THEM, BLOCK AND IGNORE OR REMOVE THE COMMENT BE SAFE* 1. "Bliss Godzilla got hurt because of the Oxygen Destroyer" - Yes I am aware of this folks, I did watch the movie after all lol. He was fighting King Ghidora also when the weapon was dropped on him, and Ghidora got out of that scott free while he did not. He still got hurt during that fight and Ghidora was still involved. Hence why I also said I didn' t like the humans interfering so much. He got hurt after two brawls no thanks to them. But sorry if I wasn't clear on that. 2. "Godzilla did NOT eat one of Ghidora's heads, he burned it" - fair point, one of his heads was ripped off with his mouth and then burned, he might as well ate some of it though from the ashes lol. Minor mistake folks. 3. "You should see Shin Godzilla" - Erm guys? I literally mention the movie Shin Godzilla in the review, so naturally I have seen it. Before any of you ask, YES I loved it! Granted it's not for everyone and it does tend to drag with the human roles, but if you're a Godzilla fan I'd say give it a watch, it's interesting to say the least.

So, do you think that they are gonna make a Godizilla film with Mecha Godzilla involved?
@astrofanman57764 жыл бұрын
*Ahem* SHIN GODZILLA WAS TERRIBLE. Why? 1. It was 95% talking. 2. When it did have a spotlight on Godzilla, he barely had any personality, unlike in the other movies. 3. He seemed a lot more evil than good, 4. He was dumb. 5. The guys commanding the military during Godzilla’s 3rd form let the city get destroyed by him JUST BEACUSE 2 FREAKING PEOPLE WERE STILL THERE If you see Pacific Rim, there were 10 people on a boat next a Kaiju but the military didn’t care and attacked the Kaiju anyways. So yeah, it was TERRIBLE.
@lightning-bliss4 жыл бұрын
@@supersaiyandiclonius3056 It's okay though a bit repetitive
@lightning-bliss4 жыл бұрын
@@astrofanman5776 Everyone is entitled to an opinion, though if I may counter why I like it with your points you displayed. 1. 95% of it was talking yes. Did you know what insipired the movie in the first place? The Fukushima Daiichi Accident in 2011. The accident was a huge learning curb for the Japenese government because they quite literally did not handle the situation correctly. Instead of acting, they "talked about" what they should do to fix the problem. But then the problem kept turning into another problem that turned into another problem. When they finally did act a lot of damage was done. Shin Godzilla was paying tribute and to serve as a reminder of what can happen when a government takes too much time to figureout and talk before actually doing something to stop the progress of damage. It's a slow going movie, but that was their reasons behind it. As far goes for an average movie goer I wouldn't recommend, but if you want to be educated and still get a godzilla movie out of it, it's not that bad. 2. This Godzilla wasn't meant to have personality, he was supposed to be a nuclear mutated animal hell bent on a destructive path. Aside from perserving it's own life, it wasn't mean to have any personality or self awareness, it was literally to represent mindless evolving destruction. If you were expecting personality then watch the older anti hero movies. This is not meant to be those. 3. Again he was a force of man made destruction. 4. I say again lol mindless destruction a mutation, he wasn't meant to do much else. 5. This is again, an example of how the Japenese government did not take proper percautions, did not evacuate quickly in time to avoid this outcome much like in the real diaster of 2011, and was forced to make difficult decisions. It's not easy sitting in the big chair. They were referencing to true events. You are comparing a Self aware movie "Pacific Rim" meant for thrilling action to a Godzilla Movie that was inspired by true events. Pacific Rim was meant to be fun, it knew what it was and gave the audience what it wanted. Shin Godzilla was meant to show the audience what happens when man doesn't pay attention, don't plan out enough, talk more then actually acting to resolve a huge problem, and what happens when leadership fails its people. It's not a fair comparison. Now again this is just my opinion. I wouldn't recommend Shin Godzilla to an average movie viewer, but if you're a Godzilla fan you might like it. If you are a diaster fan you might like it, if you want to find out what inspired this movie based on true events, you might like this too. It's not for everyone. Rant over XD

While I agree with a lot of the points y'all made on this movie, there is one thing that I'm surprised none of you made. The music! Seriously when I heard the old Godzilla theme when he entered Boston for the final throwdown, the inner kid in me was screaming for joy! And the remake of Blue Öyster Cult's Godzilla at the credits was pretty cool too. Oh and the final scene of the Ghidorah head hinting that Mecha-King Ghidorah will be introduced, which I guess is two things, but again inner kid screaming for joy. All in all, great review of an awesome movie.

Oh that was awesome! I also absolutely LOVED Bear McCreary's version of Go Godzilla during the end credits (funny thing, that was the first version of the song I heard since I wasn't even alive for the original by Blue Oyster Cult)! They even played the original theme with the original Gojira roar during the last part of the credits and that was amazing!

10:30 and King Kong! We see in the novelization he IGNORES King Ghidorah's cry. Whats more we don't see him rampaging in this film along with the other Kaiju, he stays on Skull Island. Also 18:00 mark, the reason why he was so beat up wasn't because of Ghidorah it was because of the Oxygen Destroyer! Thats why they needed to feed him a nuke to recharge him! Heck this same weapon also explains why Ghidorah could survive in the ice for so long when we see his head grow back. Ghidorah had an incredible healing factor. But I fully agree with the mom, I felt NO sympathy when she died. She set herself up as judge, jury and executioner of the human race...and put little thought into her idea.

Something regarding the seemingly lack of security on the monarch outposts: 1: Monarch actually tries to keep their presence hidden from the puplic, so a bigger presence would be couterproductive to that 2: I might be mistaken here, but i believe at the beginning it was mentioned that Monarch lost alot of funding and considering Monarch more focused on research could mean that they prioritized the research team over the securety, especially on the remote locations like Antarctica

Mothra was beautiful (especially with the waterfall scene), Godzilla was a boss, and Ghidorah's threatening presence was consistant. I have a head canon for why Monarch’s forces were in such convenient disarray for the villains. Simply put, after the 2014 incident, the government has lost faith in Monarch, and has been pulling their recourses from them so that they can invest them elsewhere for control or termination of the Titan. And since the mom was a mole for the eco-terrorists, she managed to find the exact right time to strike during the time of internal confusion and disarray.

Another Godzilla review and slipped passed my notifications?! DOTH KZbin HAVE HATRED TOWARDS ME?!?!?! Nevertheless, this was fun to watch -- Midnight Sonata is still a hoot and always makes me laugh. Hehe. Being a huge Godzilla fan myself, I agree with what y'all said. KOTM isn't a great film, but it is a perfect Godzilla film. And I loved every moment in them -- especially the introduction to all the monsters. I almost lost it when Mothra's theme came on and how it matched with her emerging from her cocoon and you see those magnificent wings. The whole scene was breathtaking. Rodan's intro was just as badass. And a callback to his first film -- if you saw Rodan, you'd know what I mean. But, I'd also like to point out to you, Lightning, that Anguirus makes a cameo as an easter egg for a split second in one scene. And It wasn't just Godzilla and Mothra that didn't respond to Ghidorah's call. Kong ignored the call, too. But, in my own score, I give this film a 9/10. Humans could've used some work, but that's about it.

the whole 'mankind is killing the planet has been done to death', by Poison Ivy being the first thing I can think of, and it's been done by B-movie horror films in the past. what they should have done was hint at their true motives of creating a mecha-kaiju, (mecha-gojira) but needing genetic material and data to create it's functions and deploying it as a superweapon with the ability to call forth the other monsters, to hold the world at ransom. I understood where she was coming from but frankly I don't really agree with knit picking science fiction movies for being not accurate to science unless its screwing up basic common knowledge. Aside from the fact that this is godzilla who's been a monster composed out of the ghost of dead Japanese soldiers, Used his own atomic breath to propel himself while curled up in the fetal position, And been an abusive dad. I never come to godzilla expecting realistic science or even consistency beyond a single film series. Also I disagree with what they call science fantasy. I have not read fallout equestria. But in order for it to be science fiction by tank girl standards it literally cannot have any Magic in it at all and must perfectly explain its fictious elements.

Also Fiaura, little hint asexual reproduction isn’t that uncommon in nature. A few species of scorpion happen to be able to reproduce asexually through the process of parthenogenesis and scorpions are very powerful and dangerous animals. As do some species of reptile, including the ever so dangerous and powerful Komodo Dragon. Also reproducing asexually basically makes you the most dangerous apex predator on the entire planet because you can increase your numbers automatically. So yea, this actually makes original American Godzilla even deadlier. Still, good video. Also Fiaura you realize that Blissy is a powerful rainbow alicorn right? I truly do love the movie and even though Mothra kinda scares me cause of her face, I am glad that both she & Godzilla do care about the humans even when destroying the cites. Cause buildings can be rebuild, but lives matter to the protectors of the earth. Yes they sometimes attack the humans, but I see that as more the humans in the movies fault that want them dead over those that know they are peaceful and helping in their own way. Plus it shows not all Kaijus are just monsters, they have feelings too with Mothra being the best example of sacrificing herself so many times, knowing she will be back to save save people and of course Godzilla.

Oh, and Fiaura? King Ghidorah doesn't breathe. He at least, not like Terrans do. He can smell, and do serpentine things, but he is a SPACE monster who travels through the vacuum of space. If he DID breathe, the Oxygen Destroyer would have killed him, just like it did Godzilla. Goji just had the fortune of having enough strength to make it to his home. His heart must have shut down for a while, but then his healing factor kicked in, and gave him barely enough strength to return to the Hollow Earth. Godzilla survived based on pure luck, while Ghidorah is immune to weapons meant to wipe out Carbon-based life that requires oxygen to breath. The Golden Demise only needs the life force of others - including planets - to live, and has no need for air when you literally travel the cosmos. The only thing that stupid thing did was guarantee the possibility of the rise/return of The Destoroyah. Human fools.:(

godzilla wasn't always about destroying cities, you forget the incarnations that were made to HELP humanity, the one from the mecha king ghidora movie(before they traveled in time), the better version of "zilla" before it was changed to a separate monster, and the 2014/16 godzilla, and i think the one from space godzilla but i can't remember, of course Godzilla did start out as a symbol of destruction, the original representing the destructive power of the hiroshima bombs, and shin by words of gaijingoomba, possibly represents firebombing that happened in japan,

Also I’m surprised they’re no name drop to the Mothzilla ship that grew popular after the film

One MAJOR Improvement between this movie and the 2014 movie was the MUSIC. I felt so disappointed after watching the 2014 movie and realizing they didn't use ANY of the original Toho music. When the Toho Godzilla theme cut in, with chanting Bhuddist monks, I wept I was so happy. The music in this was epic, moving, and distinctly GODZILLA.
