If Toho makes another Godzilla movie after this, the Trinity test that creates Godzilla could also draw the attention of Ghidorah. Why? Immediately after Trinity, we started seeing the first multiple reports of UFOs. Seriously, you can look it up. Ghidorah's cannon is being alien, so maaaaybe Toho could use that little known fact for Ghidorah's entry? It ties them to each other. One kaiju is created while another kaiju is attracted to.

I kinda want a Godzilla that matches the same energy as the 2005 King Kong reboot with how they made the script the same as the first film and the year too it be cool to have a Godzilla film that takes place in 1954 and have the same story like the first film

I'm going to assume that TOHO cast actual military (which often happens) or had a reserve of foreign actors that typically play us military or general "gaijin" in Japanese films. So it's possible that they were only turning down "extra" that would typically be in street shot scenes of crowds escaping. That makes the most sense.

That's kind of what I'm thinking too. My assumption is that the "turning down extras" means that the door is still open to casting through other channels. Often times, a studio will have a set of actors they know they can work with or have reach out to actors agents directly This is done to avoid spoilers and keep things contained. So I could fully see Toho having done this to cut down on information about what the film is about.

I think it'll be a nice change for a real life vehicle, like a battleship, to fight godzilla. They would be the closest thing we have to a super weapon.

Or, the foreign extras were turned down BECAUSE they're trying to hide this? It may not show them directly, just their vehicles and all, not the soldiers themselves, or they're doing this under the table, or with another company, etc. That's just what I think.

Hey! I haven't watched your channel in a bit and I'm glad you're still going strong! This probably won't happen but I'm hoping for a Pacific War Godzilla movie where Godzilla attacks during a massive sea battle (Perhaps Midway, Leyte Gulf, or Ten-Go, all of those were important battles during the war), forcing the Americans and the Japanese to hurl the full might of the two navies against him. It would be chaos. There'd be so many battleships (like, actual battleships with large guns, not just the missile destroyers with tiny cannons in the older Godzilla movies) firing away, like the report you covered in the video cranked up to a thousand. Extra points if Godzilla physically tears them apart, clawing through the hulls, ripping off turrets, hell, *eats a sixteen-inch shell fired into his mouth and retaliates by biting into the ship.* What do you think? Also I'm glad the Nagato's getting some love, it's always the bigger Yamato being talked about since that was the world's largest battleship.

I would love to see Godzilla fight humans again. It's always been Godzilla fights other kaiju but what about the original threat, humans? Humans provide the scale in size other kaiju cannot and makes Godzilla more ferocious. I would also love to see Godzilla swim next to the Nagato with his spines out of the water. Alright that settles it, I officially subscribed so I can keep up with the newest news as soon as it comes out.

I agree, almost every Godzilla film consists of him battling another kaiju which is cool, we love a good monster fight, but we haven’t gotten that many movies where it’s just him against humanity, I’m hoping they keep it like that, it was actually supposed to be like that for Godzilla (2014) but they had to throw in the two MUTOS of course and have Godzilla be the savior, but I still enjoyed the film and I enjoyed watching the fight scenes and watching Godzilla kill off the MUTOS but I think if they had Godzilla by himself and just attacking humanity, it would take the film toward a more horror type direction and for me Godzilla is supposed to be scary, he is a living, breathing force of nature. I feel as if this movie gives us that feeling that the Original film and Shin Godzilla gave us.

Not to be critical. The bomb you showed as Godzilla’s creation was actually a hydrogen bomb. To give it a little bit more context, the military detonated that bomb and had a lot of military ships in the area to test the amount of radiation that each ship might absorb, and if it could withstand the blast radius.

I have to admit I am a huge Godzilla fan but one thing that endlessly makes me groan is when Godzilla is supposed to be out at sea and he stands up in the water like he's standing on the bottom. In King of the monsters after they use a nuke to regenerate/power up Godzilla who is way deep in an undersea cavern he then stands up beside the submarine and blasts his atomic breath into the sky. So many loved that scene but I think it is too dumb to watch for many reasons. Is he treading water or something? Would you really marvel at his majesty from the deck of the only thing keeping you alive at sea or would you be scared shitless? What exactly was the purpose of Godzilla shooting his atomic breath into the sky? It's not like he's ever done that before. It took him 3/4 of the way through the fight with the Mutos to even use it. Godzilla vs Kong was the only Godzilla sea battle that looked correct and realistic. I agree a fight with battleships would be cool but it must be done right.

Hiya, the Japanese text on the storefront reads かえるはり or kaeruhari. Basically “To make a change / alteration”. “Kaeru” also means “frog”, so make of that as you will. Hope this helps a little. Cheers!

I'd personally prefer a blue glow, I'm not a fan of the 2000 design and the orange breath is one of the reasons why. Also i consider the monsterverse part of the reiwa era, but i can understand why others dont since its not toho made

Technically, yes. All the Millennium films were also "Heisei Era" films. But Toho doesn't count stuff like that. They don't sell "Godzilla (1984)" or "Godzilla VS Biollante" as Showa era films, although they both technically are from the Showa era.

I'm game. Plus it make aense for it to be the US military, out military was the most advanced at that time. Plus i feel another monster or ******** would take away the dark, grim, and dreary even hopeless feel that the trailers have been trying to portray so far. Unless they do it right. But i like what i see so far. I enjoy and love what Legendary has done but Godzilla is at his best when he's a villain..he's most ruthless and unforgiving yhat way. Encaptures the seriousness of him. I feel this movie will be a one and done kind of thing

@@methlokaijufan9729 don’t get me wrong I LOOOOOOOVE a good old epic monster fight here and there but it wouldn’t hurt to just have a movie centered around humanity trying to survive one monster and have its origins be explained, also it can STILL be epic seeing Godzilla run around destroying everything it’s just how you treat it and how high the stakes are for the human characters (also huge fan of your work and it’s such an honor having a friendly argument with you LOL😂)
